Amazing tour with great staff! - I have always had the best experiences booking off shore independent tours while cruising and this one was no exception! Had to ask directions to get out of costa maya (of course), nice ac bus took us to the ruins. Our guide, frank, was knowledgeable and funny. The whole tour company is owned and operated by locals which i prefer to support instead of big corporations (carnival). After the ruins we had snacks on the bus (I had Mexican beer and chipotle Fritos-so good!) while going to a fruit stand for the best pineapple and mango I have ever had in my life!! After that we went hot sauce tasting from like 30 different kinds of sauces. Then to the lighthouse for pics. Don’t pass this up if you going to costa maya and want to see the ruins!

CHACCHOBEN RUINS - Costa Maya Excursion - Great tour! Booked the small group tour to the ruins in Costa Maya instead of going through Carnival. My family of 4 ended up being the only ones in the group and we had a wonderful time with Adan and Juan Corona. Juan gave us a great tour of the ruins and took lots of great family pictures! We had fun stopping at a pineapple stand and local hot sauce company with Adan on our way back to the port. The honey pineapple is a must try! We completed our tour with a stop at the lighthouse in Mahahual. The cruise port is a little confusing but we found our way out with the help of the company provided map and Adan was waiting for us with a sign with my name on it. Definitely recommend this company and tour when in Costa Maya!

Amazing tour guide - Once our ship ported it took some time to get out of port. Once out, we found the company with our names. They led us to a shade tent while we waited for another family. They showed up shortly after. Sophia, Soph, or hey girl was our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing. On the drive to the ruins which takes a little time she gave us so much history of the area. That didn’t stop once we got there. She was so knowledgeable and shared all of that with us. On the way back we made a couple stops. I don’t want to spoil it. We would 100% do this excursion again.

Good time with Francisco - We are so glad that Francisco was our tour guide because he was knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. His knowledge and love of the local area and the history of the ruins came through during the time we spent with him. So thankful for the drinks and snacks on the way back to the ship. Thanks again Francisco!

Our guide was better than your guide! - We had the best time! We easily walked from the port, straight to the company. We were driven to the ruins in a private van that was filled with tons of snacks, water, sodas and beer. Our guide, Francisco was so informative. Experiencing the ruins was great and a bucket list item. But the ride back was the surprise we all kept talking about. They stopped at a fruit stand that had warm banana cake! Then we stopped at a place where we tried multiple habanero sauces. Thank you to Francisco and Erick for making our trip unforgettable!
