I have booked many... - I have booked many excursions throughout the years and this tour with Carol as our guide, was hands down the highlight of my trip. From the very beginning, the guides were on time, right where they said the meet up site would be which makes things painless. Carol communicated exactly the plan for the day, down to the hour, ensuring the cruise departure time was discussed and everyone was on the same page so there was zero confusion (ship time vs port time). On our drive to the lagoon, Carol placed our orders ahead of time with the restaurant, ensuring we stay on schedule and don’t lose time waiting around later, in turn leaving us more time in the lagoon. We also received a lesson during the drive on cenotes and the landscapes in the area which made the tour all the more fun. We stopped in a small village and Carol bought us a pineapple/ mango so we could have fresh fruit for the boat ride. Talk about thinking ahead and going the extra mile. Once we got to the lagoon, we swam at multiple swim spots where we had tequila, beer, Coke, etc. and enjoyed many Mexican snacks all supplied by the guides. Carol was constantly bringing out fruit and drinks to us while we swam and not more than 10 min when by without her asking if we needed anything. Truly unmatched service you rarely come across. After we wrapped up in the lagoon we had lunch at the restaurant, which was ready immediately so there was zero waiting around. The timing throughout the day was unbelievable and there was not a single wasted minute. I should add the food was incredible. After lunch we headed back to port and arrived at the exact time frame Carol said we would at the beginning of the day, leaving us plenty of time to get to the boat and even shop a little. Impressive!! This is a lengthy review but I truly cannot put into words just how incredible this experience was and it’s even harder to find the right words to say just how amazing Carol and her whole team were coordinating this entire day. They truly put their all into it and it absolutely showed! Thank you guys!

Great day trip to see Bacalar Lagoon! - Great experience despite the rainy weather!!! Adan was a great guide who gave us history about Mahahual region and lives of locals. Abraham was a great boat driver and took us to three different cenotes and stopped at the swimming area as well! He cut up fresh fruit and served up drinks. Both Adan and Abraham swam with us and helped make the best of the rainy day! Local taco lunch was great as well and Hassan was a great van driver both ways. The van was very clean and air conditioned! Would 100% book with this tour company again!

Very good excursion for... - Very good excursion for all ages. Carol our guide was fabulous. She was very informative and very responsible about keeping time so that we could enjoy without worry about missing the ship ( the lagoons are located about an hour's drive from the port) They really do take care of everything!

Beautiful Water - Adan took amazing care of us the whole time. It was a longer drive to the lagoons than I thought it would be (over a hour), but we got to learn about the history of the area. Such beautiful water where we just enjoyed playing, eating fresh cut fruit, and of course tequila.

Beautiful Bacalar - Amazing excursion! The drive to Bacalar was comfortable thanks to our driver and Francisco. Snacks and refreshments were provided along with a restroom break at a local convenience store. The 7 Colors Lagoon was stunning and Francisco provided us with the history and information about the cenotes and surrounding area. After our swim we headed to the Taco Loco for lunch. The food and the service were excellent . I very much enjoyed the Tikin Xix ( photo included) .We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend it to those seeking a unique experience.

Much better than a beach break! - Was really good. You get picked up on time make the drive, experience the clear water stop at a real restaurant for lunch and back to ship. Was a bit nervous about something not booked through the ship but wouldn’t hesitate to book these guys again at all.

Bacalar, 7 colours and lots of pampering - Lagoon with beautiful colors, prepared guides, competent and very attentive. Carol was our guide and pampered us throughout the hike explaining in great detail not only the Bacalar but in general the whole area we were crossing. She also stopped along the way to pick up pineapples and mangoes, which she then ate in the lagoon: delicious. The captain of the boat Armando was also very good. The place is worth trip: beautiful colors in an enchanted lagoon. Excellent organization for those like us who made the excursion during a stage of the cruise.

Beautiful but Sunshine Better - This tour was great. We did this last year. They picked us up in a timely manner. Easy to find them but tricky getting out of the store area in the port to find the road out. They met us with our names on their sign. It is about an hour ride. They provided us with drinks on the way. Loved Adan's information about the tour and his personal experiences as a free diver fisherman. Wow. There were 12 of us so they took two pontoon boats. We saw many other tour companies cramming in large amounts. We stopped along the way for Adan to pick up some pineapples and mangos. He cut them to serve us in the water. Sadly, the pineapple was not ripe but the mangos were amazing. This tour is so much better in sunlight but that cannot be controlled of course. The 7 colors are really on noticeable in sunlight. It makes the blues pop. I highly recommend this tour; especially during the sarguassum time of summertime. Who likes a smelly seaweed covered beach? We stopped for tacos on the way back and they were very good. We got back to port hours before we had to be back and gave time for a little shopping.

The place we visited and... - The place we visited and the boat tour guides are nice. However the logistics are horrible. We almost missed our cruise ship upon return. They had us wait for other people that were not at the meeting place on time and caused us to almost miss the ship. It was very stressful toward the end. Would not recommend if you are doing this as part of a ship cruise stop.

Beautiful but misleading - The experience I received did not align with the itinerary and description that were advertised at the time of booking. The itinerary specifically stated that we would visit and explore three different Cenotes. However, during the excursion we were only taken to one. This was extremely disappointing, as the visit to multiple Cenotes was one of the main reasons I booked this experience. Additionally, the description failed to disclose that the trip involved an hour and 30 minute one-way bus ride. This meant that a significant portion of the excursion time was spent traveling rather than enjoying the activities promised. Had this information been clearly stated, I would have reconsidered booking, as this was not the experience I was seeking. Given that the excursion did not deliver what was outlined in the itinerary and description, and considering the extended travel time and lack of included activities, I believe the charges are misleading and overpriced.
