Good experience!!!! - I spent a week in Saigon for work and wanted a quick getaway before flying home. Booked this Vung Tau beach tour hoping for a chill day – and it delivered. It took about 4 hours to get there with traffic, so be prepared for a long drive. First stop was the Giant Jesus statue – lots of stairs but the view from the top was worth it. We also visited the lighthouse and the White Palace. Honestly, I didn’t expect Vung Tau to have that much history, so it was interesting to learn a bit about the area. Lunch was at a local seafood place. Simple but tasty, and it felt nice to eat by the beach. We had some time to walk around the seaside after. I just sat there with a coconut and watched the waves – exactly what I needed to reset after a busy week. If you’re looking for a quick beach escape from Saigon, this tour is a good option. Just note that travel time is quite long compared to actual time spent in Vung Tau, but overall I’m glad I went.
