Romantic Experience with my Partner - Very romantic experience enjoying a sunset gondola ride at 6pm. My fiancée and I enjoyed a lovely shared experience with a father and daughter. It was a very fun way to explore the grand canal and incredibly picturesque. This tour was also an affordable way to experience one of Venice’s ‘Must Do’ tourist activities.

Gondola Ride - Fun Venetian experience. First time in a gondola and it was fun! The boats require at party of 5, thankfully, my mom and I made friends with another couple and we were able to be in the same boat together. It was quite the Venetian experience and I loved it!

Enjoyable ride - Even though it was raining, it was a very enjoyable ride the gondolier was very skillful not very friendly. We share the ride with two lovely people and it was a lot of fun.

Not worth your time - It’s not a tour, it’s just a canal ride. Gondola drivers only take euros. This was our only way of using a credit card to ride a gondola.

Unacceptable and feeling of scam - Unacceptable! I am extremely disappointed. The rendezvous time was at 6:45 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. start. Knowing the sun sets at 7:20. Except that at 7:02 p.m. an organizer arrived and divided us into several groups. Took more than 6/7 minutes. Then we walked at a very fast pace pdt almost 10 minutes to reach the gondoliers. I might as well tell you that the sun was already set. And here's the pompom. Our gondolier who seemed annoyed, answered a phone call by uttering insults all along the ride (yes there are people who speak Italian even at tourists, crazy worm). And made a lap so fast that precisely 13 minutes later we were back on dry land. So yes we may not have found the right gondolier, but whatever happens on the streets for 90€ it is possible to have 30 minutes of gondola. And if we share with strangers we divide that amount. There I paid 100€ I was with 3 strangers and I did less than 15 minutes of gondola. The big scam. To flee, go straight to the streets. You'll be all the more delighted.

Skip this one! - Truly disappointed with the experience. They don’t tell you you’ll be hiking from one point of Venice to another to get the gondola ride and then put on with other people! Boring ride with zero information from the Gondalier. I do not recommend this experience as price point is high for what you get.

Very poor and very sad. - Do not go through Viator or anything to do with that Gondola company. We purchased what we thought were 2 tickets for a private “tour” but they put us with another couple when we went to enter the boat. The gondola driver never spoke to us. He only spoke to the other gondola drivers and smoked. When I went to the ticket booth after for an explanation she said this is not the first complaint but never offered any money back. It is terrible that my husband and I were in Venice for the first time and our experience was so terrible for the Gondola ride that should have been a beautiful experience.
