Easy to follow! - Easy to find. The directions on the description were perfect. Pleasant ride. There was plenty of room for my luggage.

Easy way to get from airport into the city - I wasn't sure where to even get dropped off, but I showed them my address for the hotel and they told me which one to look for. It was a quick and easy experience. Just follow the blue signs in the airport, buy a ticket, and follow the path to the boats.

Venice —> Marco Polo airport ferry - This is the public ferry that runs back and forth between Venice and the airport, making a few stops to pick up along the way. It was great once we were on the ferry, a little confusing to figure out beforehand if you’re not familiar with how Venice transport works. So basically to get to the airport from Venice via ferry, you have to purchase a physical ticket at one of their offices. You can find a list of these online, just make sure you’re on the Aliliaguna website. They also have maps of the routes and which lines go where. Make sure you choose the one for the correct line! Then you just make sure you are at one of the stops at the time it says it comes by (def recommended getting there early) and they’ll pick you up (if they aren’t full already). I read online that they can fill up sometimes, we did the very first one in the morning and there were already a decent amount of people getting on that one, but they usually hold at least 50 people each. Just keep in mind how many stops before yours and time of day when considering if it may be full or not.

Water Taxi - A great way to see Venice from the water. Well organised and easy to exchange your voucher at the airport.

Airport to CA’ Rezz - You don’t get as good of a view and for the money I would have take the more quicker private boot. Make sure you understand what line goes where quickest.. you can be on the boot for a while and the cabin windows are hard to see out of. The crew were nice

Aliguna not the best in my opinion. Big queues. Small boats. - Note that several different things are being reviewed in this thread. We used the Alilaguna water bus from the airport into the grand canal near our hotel and back again. It’s 15 euros each way and if you use it If you use this service I recommend Not buying your tickets online as you have to pick up real tickets from a desk or a machine in the airport anyway. We saw that the queues are very large and you will almost certainly have to wait an hour or so in line at busy times especially for the popular orange line. (In both directions). Whilst theoretically convenient with one form of transport, I would recommend you get the number 5 bus from the airport to the bus station, and walk across the square to the regular vaporetti water buses and get anywhere slightly faster without having much of a queue. Ticket machines for bus and water bus are available with combined options, singles, returns and daily passes. Combined ticket 18 euros but in my view a better option. Ps you can pay 100+ euros for a private water taxi which is very convenient but also very expensive.

Crowded but does the job - The water taxi was not the experience we were looking for. The taxi was VERY crowded an you don't get fresh air when on the boat. Our stop was also at the end of the rotation (our own fault for not knowing ahead of time) and it took over an hour from the airport to the hotel. We would recommend paying the extra money for the private taxi next time.

Better off using water taxi and bus to get to Marco Polo - Maybe the reason for so many five star reviews or travel other than to the airport. I would not recommend for going to the airport as the capacity of the boat is not large and if you aren’t at the front of the queue you will be waiting on another boat for half an hour. It’s fine once onboard but it’s not a reliable way to travel to the airport unless you have ample time to miss a couple boats. I would just take the public water taxi and then the bus from Piazza Roma if I were to do it again. There’s also more walking from the dock vs the bus once you arrive.

Poor service - I recommend exploring alternative transportation options, such as the bus or train, as the water taxi service is unreliable and often unpredictable. Don't rely on the timetable, as it seems to be nonexistent. Even if you wait in line for 30 minutes, there’s no guarantee that you will board, which can result in extended waiting times that exceed an hour. Staff are clearly unhelpful.

BAD SERVICE!!! MAI PIU!!! - BAD service!!! At the boarding raft in F.NOVE to the airport the boat stopped 10 seconds!!! did not give us time to "override" other people waiting for other boats! We wait for the next (30 minutes), at the next stop (Murano) FOUR PEOPLE MORE 'THAN ALLOWED (who refuse to get off!) and the captain REFUSES TO LEAVE! WE WERE STOPPED 45 MINUTES!!!! and only after the insistence of several people who risked missing the flight, it started again!!! ABSURD!!!!
