Awesome experience!!! Ten stars!!! - Do this! We chose this specific course as my husband is diabetic & we could see for ourselves how to make paella ~ the dish made famous in Valencia. Ana, Cris & Valentin were funny, full of knowledge & made cooking together a fantastic experience. We made new friends & familia. Highly recommend for couples, families - anyone who wants to experience pure joy for three fast hours. Sangria & tapas were wonderful, too.

Paella, people and Sangria- what more could you want? - Our experience was great on so many level. Our leaders, Valentine and Chris, could not have been more helpful or fun. They explained everything we needed to know in terms even non cooks could understand. From the initial trip to Rusafa Market to eating the finished products, everyone felt comfortable. The group (16 people) all got along beautifully even with some language differences. ( This may have been aided by the delicious tapas, Sangria and wine!) I would highly recommend this travel adventure to anyone interested in food, Spanish culture or both!

Great experience - This was a fantastic experience! Valentin and Christina were awesome - they were knowledgeable and funny, and the paellas turned out great. I've been trying to make paella on my own for many years and this class really helped me get better. In addition, the side dishes were also great. I definitely would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about making paella

Wonderful Class & Recipes - Having been of a few different classes around Spain I have to say this was the most authentic class. It kept a balance between being fun and serious and the food and drinks served were delicious. I signed up for the Seafood paella and it was the best paella i've tried in Spain. The other recipes were also delicious from the patatas bravas, the mussels and the sangria. There was a lot of food and drinks so it was really good value for money too. Always happy to support small businesses, wish you lots of success! Thank you to to the team for a lovely afternoon.

Roll up your sleeves and dig into a tasty tradition! - What a fun, and delicious, time we had! First a trip to the fabulous Rustafa market and then over to the My First Paella kitchen to cook both seafood and veggie paella. First we had tapas and Sangria and then Anna supervised our cooking. Hands-on and so much fun! Alternative beverages are offered for light- or non- drinkers. We all sat and enjoyed our efforts like a big family dinner. Highly recommend!

A good time was had by all! - My wife and I took the seafood paella cooking call yesterday and had an excellent fantastic time. The meet-up was flawless and the trip to Ruzafa market to buy the ingredients was both informative and a good way to break the ice between the participants. The tapas and sangria that we were served upon arrival at the kitchen didn’t hurt either. The preparation was explained in detail and everyone got a chance to participate in the cooking process. The chefs were both friendly and knowledgeable and took time to make sure that everyone was having an enjoyable experience. The meal we cooked was excellent and we all enjoyed making new friends as a part of this shared experience. As a matter of fact, we ran into some of our new friends today while sightseeing and exchanged information about Barcelona where coincidentally, we are all going tomorrow. Well done to the entire team from MyFirstPaella. On a 1-5 scale we rate them a solid 10!!
