My First Paella - We have set out to teach you how to cook one of the most international dishes, the Valencian Paella. Rice is its main ingredient, followed by chicken, rabbit and vegetables.
We will meet in our kitchen. We will start with a sangria workshop that we will accompany with some delicious freshly cooked tapas and drinks. Then we will divide into groups and start with the paella workshop. We will discover the necessary ingredients to cook an authentic Valencian paella (fresh ingredients bought in the Ruzafa market).
Our chef will explain step by step all the secrets of a good paella and you will be the one who cooks the paella. While we cook we will learn a little more about the customs and culture of the Valencians.
Once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

1000/10 - I could not recommend this experience enough, it was more then a cooking class, Joan took us through our class making sure everyone was equally envolved and made a comfortable firmilure home environment mixed with humour and authentic Spanish hospitality, a cooking class you can do anywhere the atmosphere they created was something I won’t forget. highly recommend and can’t wait to go back to Valencia again

Paella cooking experience - Great overall experience. Started the night with tapas and sangria. Great mix of history, story telling and hands on cooking. Ended the night eating the delicious paella that we help cook.

This was one of our... - This was one of our favorite experiences. I took the class with my 6 year old grandson. Not only did they have a kid size apron but they also provided him with a step stool. He was included in the entire evening. From the beginning to the end, the class was extremely informative and fun! The recipes were easy to follow and everything was delicious from the sangria, tapas, paella and dessert.

Fun evening! - Fantastic experience! The staff was extremely friendly and fun. The sangria was delicious and there were great appetizers before we even started the paella. They did a great job including everyone in the process of cooking the paella. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Such Fun! - This was a really fun group activity. The tapas and Sangria that start of the evening were yummy and our instructors were extremely entertaining. We learned not only the basics of paella making, but much of the culture that surrounds the dish as well.

The activity is great, the activity is fun. Chef Jose is humorous; the assistant, sorry for forgetting my name, kind and kind, especially as a classmate, although I speak poorly in English, they are patient to listen to me and try to understand. I would love to invite my children to go with me again - Once the entrance is filled with a joyful atmosphere, the Sanglia wine and front dishes that are met are enough to let people off their minds. The chef and assistant value everyone's reaction and the cooked food is delicious.

Great Date Night! - What a fun evening! Everything was perfect from the tapas and sangria to the class itself. We got to know some amazing travelers while learning make our paella. Our hosts were funny and kept things moving so there wasn't much down time. We really enjoyed it!

Fun Cooking Class! - Highly recommend this tour and the 5:00 time slot!! Great paella cooking class! Ours was led by Chris and Jose. First we learned how to make Sangria! Then nibbled on Tapas made by Chris. Our group of 6 made traditional while another group of 4 made seafood paella. We all volunteered or were assigned different tasks to make the paella. Once complete, Chris and Jose did the plating and serving while we sat with our group and continued to make new friends. It was a fantastic experience!
