My favorite tour to date! - Just got home from the 8 day trip with gorillas, chimps and game/boat drives with two friends.
Our guide was Reagan, who made the experience more like visiting a friend in Uganda. We chatted on the road like four friends on a road trip. Reagan regularly shared facts about animals with us and answered all of our crazy questions about Uganda and the animals.
Reagan was amazing with communication (he speaks like 7 languages!) to restaurants, lodges and us. He was even able to help with a few picky eaters on the trip.
The flow of the trip was perfect and I think it made us all sad when it came to an end. The drives, boat rides, trekking were all spaced perfectly. The trekking exceeded expectations and got us closer to all of the animals than we expected. We had booked midrange accommodations that usually felt higher than midrange.
I researched companies for months before putting down our deposit and I couldn't be happier with our choice.
I will say a few ppl have mentioned Sedrick can be slow with communication sometimes, but I found out sometimes he serves as a guide too. Emails sometimes took a day or two, but all of my WhatsApp inquiries were answered almost immediately. We also had an eight hour time difference that may have made communication a challenge. Once we had our guide's contact, communication was seamless.
Usually, I am a do it yourself person (I love Kruger). I've only ever done one "organized" tour on another continent and I thought it would be my last. Glad I gave it another try because Ngoni & Reagan delivered the absolute best experience.

Uganda ❤️❤️ - Uganda is a wonderful destination and when you have a guide like Stephen from Ngoni Safaris who keeps an eye on all the details, reacts to unexpected events, offers alternatives, with which you learn about Uganda, its history, its people, its nature... becomes an amazing experience. A trip of a lifetime. Thank you very much Stephen!!!

The perfect adventure - I had an amazing time with Ngoni and most notably Eddy my guide. I traveled solo for this trip so the person I spent 9 days with was key to the experience. Eddy was a pleasure to be around - very personable and knowledgeable. There is a lot of travel time between locations so having the right travel partner is key!
The accommodations were as described and added comfort plus enjoyable meals at the end of each day. They were equal feel of being one with nature but offering the creature comforts I want while traveling.
All animal encounters were incredible but the gorillas stole the show. It was clear they were just as interested in our visit as we were to see them. I loved the challenge of getting to them to see them in their world.
If you are considering a trip to Uganda then I definitely recommend putting your trust in Ngoni to give you a memorable vacation!

An unforgettable safari - We had booked very short and found the perfect contact person with Sedrick. The journey was from beginning to end
Super organized. Stephen was our driver and guide. A very thoughtful, personable person. We got a lot of information about the country and people, at the game drive he was extremely motivated to show us all the animals, and very humorous.

5 star tour with Ngoni Safari Tours - I and 2 friends had the pleasure of just completing a 9 day tour and safari in Uganda with Ngoni Safari Tours.
From the very beginning we found Sedrick the owner to be most responsive and flexible in arranging an itinerary that suited all of us and at a price that was very agreeable.
Our guide Eddy was the epitome of the perfect guide, extremely knowledgeable about the history of Uganda, and facts about wildlife. His amazing tracking abilities had us seeing the big 5 animals in Murchison NP and Queen Elizabeth NP. He was kind and courteous and became more of a friend by the end of our tour.
Would highly recommend booking a trip with Ngoni Safaris.

Uganda, thank you! - Ngoni chose wonderful lodges for our friend group of three and we were able to customize our itinerary to give us two days at each location so we didn’t feel rushed. We had the 9-day tour of Murchison Falls and the savanna, Kibale National Park to see the chimpanzees, Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning and evening game drive (saw leopards and lions), and finally, Bwindi where we hiked to see the gorillas. Amazing trip and we felt well taken care of and our guide, Eddy, was considerate and knowledgeable and we felt fortunate to have him.

I absolutely recommend this company. Best value for money and great knowledge. - With Ngoni Safaris we had a 10/10 experience.
We booked directly with them about 6 months before the trip. They were helpful with tailoring the trip to match our wishes and budget exactly and provided honest information, which was harder to find among other companies.
We did a 8-days trip, covering Ziwa rhinos, Murchison, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, Bwindi and Lake Bunyoni.
So they only do private tours and only use their own Land Cruisers, which are in good shape (I think they have a fleet of around 10 vehicles).
Our guide was Reagan and he was wonderful the whole time, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. He had amazing local knowledge of all the parks (having spent lot's of time there in guiding courses), so he would always know local guards and staff - which provided to be crucial in getting info about best spots for seeing animals. We saw everything possible, even the very elusive leopard in some of the most remote areas of the park with very hard roads to tackle. In Murchison we saw like 8 lions, in Queen Elizabeth 4 of them (they were mating, hunting and also climbing trees), not to mention all in all many giraffes, antelopes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles and other stuff. Reagan really knew evwry single place of where you could be expecting them and usually we were even the first one to spot them among other vehicles. So really, local knowledge came as a victory.
Other activities were amazing - we saw chimps and gorillas, which were both absolutely crazy and unforgettable experiences. There's practically a 100% chance you will see them when you go for tracking - they always make you find them as they have trackers following them from early morning, so they always know where they are.
Lodges - I have to pause here - they were superb. Everywhere we were in luxury lodges - also after talking with different guides from different companies, it seemed that they were the very best options in the areas for a variety of reasons. Simply amazing, next level.
What's interesting here - Ngoni offered this trip (being a luxury private experience with luxury lodges) for the virtually same price as some other companies would for a group budget tour, with a safari van and camping. So I was even a bit suspicious about it, but everything was just perfect.
It's fair to mention that we did have some minor issues with the car, but Reagan sorted them out with local mechanics in a time that didn't really affect our activities, so it was pretty impressive overall, the support network they seem to have all around the country.
Another thing necessary to mention that wasn't great was communication from mr. Sedrick - sometimes I wasn't really sure where we were standing. But as I've read in previous reviews that he was like that, it somehow eased me a bit and in the end everything was fine.
So all in all - Ngoni is a great company with great guides and reputation and is most def a great value for money and I absolutely recommend them for your African experience.
