We visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won’t be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).
- Cenote Taak Bi Ha - The underground cenote Taak Bi Ha is situated in the Parque Dos Ojos and is especially suitable for a great snorkeling and diving experience. With crystal-clear waters and spectacular rock formations, it is incredibly beautiful and surrounded by the Mexican jungle.
- Akumal Beach - Guided snorkeling with turtles at Akumal Bay to search for 3 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species and explore the 2nd largest barrier reef in the World.

Tulum, Cenote and Akumal - The tour was amazing. Manny and Dennis were excellent guides. Everything was well run. We never felt rushed, but they moved well from location to location. All of the locations were beautiful and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend Manny and Dennis.

Amazing day with Ivan - Ivan was very knowledgeable about Tulum and explained everything in detail as we walked through. Cenote was amazing and very beautiful. We saw a lot of turtles and our guide made sure we were safe at all times. Lunch at Little Tree for toco’s, they were amazing to end our day.

Best day ever - Such an amazing experience! It all started with our guide Ivan. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the culture. Tulum was my personal favorite stop , but the cenote would be a very close second. The turtles were great as well. He then took us to a local taqueria. The tacos were absolutely delicious and authentic. In my opinion, better than most of the food I've had at our resort. We had such a great day, and are looking forward to booking another tour on our next trip!

Magical turtle experience - My family and I spent an amazing morning with our guide, Jessica swimming with turtles and visiting a cenote. Her English is excellent and we learned a lot from her about local history and ecology. The early start made all the difference visiting the turtles as we had them all to ourselves when we arrived which provided some cool photos and lovely memorys of the encounter.
The cenote we visited was less 10 minutes from the highway but when we arrived we felt like we were in the middle of the forest. We had a tour of the water and caves and enjoyed Jessica’s explanation of the simbiotic relationship of all the plants in the area.
We were lucky enough to see fresh water turtles, fruit bats and some Motmot birds while we were floating around.
I would highly recommend this trip, and in particular our guide, Jessica for anyone who wants a snap shot of the beautiful wildlife in the Riviera Maya area.
This is one of the best trips we have ever done.

Castle Rock, Colorado family touring caves and turtles with Manny and Dennis - Incredible tour! Manny and Dennis are a great team. From the moment we were picked up from the resort, Manny was setting expectations and briefing us on the days activities. Dennis made sure everything was in order and was very accommodating to our needs. . They moved us through the process quickly and were very efficient in maximizing our time for each attraction. Manny is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and was great to talk to while passing time on the way to the attractions. Dennis made sure to get us where we needed to be in the shortest amount of time possible and watched over our personal items while we were out on the excursion. I would recommend Manny and Dennis to anyone that was coming to visit. Ask them to tell you about the local candies and snacks!!!

Incredible Tulum Tour with Angel Martinez – A Must-Do Experience! - We booked the Tulum + “Ven a la Luz” tour with Tours with Mike while staying at Secrets Maroma, and it was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Angel Martinez, was absolutely phenomenal — knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area.
We explored the stunning Mayan ruins in Tulum, visited a breathtaking underground cenote, and made a stop at the iconic Ven a la Luz sculpture (which we requested to add — totally worth it!). We chose not to swim with the turtles, but the tour was still perfect for us.
Angel made the whole experience seamless and engaging, answering all our questions and going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. If you’re considering a private tour, this is the one to book.

Tulum, turtles and cenote! - Incredible experience! Highlight of our trip!! Heber was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Made us feel welcomed and cared for.
