- Peles Castle - Our first visit is to Peles Castle, the former residence of the Romanian Royal Family and the most visited castle in Romania.
- General Exhibition standard tour 1 hour (on Mondays you will visit Peles Castle from outside because it is closed on Mondays, and you will spend more time in Brasov city)
*Please be aware that Peles Castle will be closed between 12th and 25th of February 2024 for refurbishment. In this period we will see Peles Castle from outside and visit Pelisor Castle instead.
- Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - The second visit will be at the famous Bran castle, also known as Dracula’s castle; It is considered that Bram Stocker’s novel was inspired by Bran Castle and Vlad the Impaler, one of the cruelest rulers of the Walachia region of Romania.
- Brasov Historical Center - As we arrive in Brasov city, you will have a short guided walking tour of Brasov downtown and some free time to explore yourself and have a lunch break.

- From the 1st of August 2024, Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, we will see the Peles Castle from outside & the gardens and we will spend more time in Brasov.

Fun experience but expect a very long day - Excellent guide, very knowledgeable and approachable

A great day out seeing snow covered mountains. - Great to be in a small group. Matthew and Peter got us safely there and back again despite the traffic jam.
Matthew knew his stuff and was fun to listen to.
Peles Castle is better than Bran.
Brasov has some wonderful places to eat if you head off the main square.

We took the 2 Castle Trip to Peleș Castle, Bran Castle and finished with a short trip into Brasov.
It was absolutely outstanding. Laura was the perfect guide. very friendly, organised and helpful.
Her knowledge of the trip itinerary, history, Bucharest and Romanian history is incredible.
Peter got us there and back, all on time and very safely.
Thanks for a superb tour.

Transylvania experience - It was a great experience visiting Transylvania, the castles and Brasov.
The drive through the mountains was incredibly beautiful.
Our guide Serban was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.

Good value - It is a long day which wasn't unexpected. Traffic doesn't help so added about an hour to the day. But overall it was worth the extra to go with a small group on a comfortable minibus. Our was very knowledgeable and had a good line in jokes.

Great day out sight seeing Transylvania - we had a great day, tiring as there was an early start and a late finish 7am to 9pm. Serban was great fun and very informative. Peter was very accomadating. Peles Castle was stunning and Bran castle although not as glamorous a fabulous sight. I do however think it was a bit of a rush from bran castle to Brasov. We had very little, if no time to eat. Just to be aware of this and maybe bring a packed lunch or ensure you eat at the food stalls, before leaving Bran castle to head to Brasov.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly - Peles Castle was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. However it was disappointing that the majority of the exterior was covered in scaffolding - something I feel customer should be made aware of. Bran by contrast was quite disappointing being too crowded and lacking really in authenticity given that it is playing off the hollywood myth too much. Overall the time available was a bit tight meaning that meals were confined to fast food and also traffic on a Sunday is very bad
