Fascinerend Donana - We experienced a relaxing day together with the group of about 20 people and guide Sergio. The visit to Donana national park was an unforgettable experience. We couldn't spot the lynx(es), but we saw a lot of beautiful waterfowl, including the fascinating flamingos, as well as deer. The village of El Rocio was also a special experience; we imagined ourselves in South America. After lunch in El Rocio (Sergio led us to a nice local restaurant), we ended our day with a walk through the dunes and along the beach. Definitely recommended this excursion!

Super day tour of Doñana - Fantastic day. Sergio was a brilliant expert guide - to everything. Birds and natural history superb, but we discussed geography, history, ecology, conservation, and more.

Great tour for birdwatching, history and scenery - Great tour with a very enthusiastic guide named José. He knows everything about flora, fauna and history. We spotted the lynx. The Doñana was full of water due to the extreme rainfall this spring. Lots of birds. El Rocio is an interesting pelgrims town and the sand dunes are amazing. At top of that we spotted delphins in the Atlantic from a high dune!

Fabulous tour for nature lovers. - This was the second time I came on this trip to Doñana with Jose as the guide. Saw lots of amazing bird life and was able to use binoculars provided by Naturanda. Jose knows a lot about the wildlife and ecology of the area and was able to communicate very well in English. Because of heavy rain in recent weeks much of the area was flooded and Jose adapted the itinerary brilliantly. A bonus was that Jose sent through photos of the bird life he'd taken on the day - so much better than the ones I took!

The guide was excellent. Thanks to his skill we saw plenty of birds flamingo, spoonbill, avocet etc in spite of flood - The guide was excellent. We don’t know much about birds but were excited to see the wetlands. Thanks to the guides skill we saw plenty of birds flamingo, spoonbill, avocet, black stork, white stork, even owls etc in spite of flood. He also explained the various plantations, and pointed out wild horses.

Our tour guide Miguel was... - Our tour guide Miguel was fantastic. He worked so hard to find interesting things for us to see despite the horrendous weather and inability (due to flooding) to get to all the places that would have provided the most interesting viewing of wildlife. So 5 stars for that part. However, I felt that Naturanda should have canceled the tour that day because they already knew of the road closures and quite frankly, in hindsight it seemed almost dangerous to go out there where we did. There was dangerous flooding throughout the area. We did safely get back to Seville but it was an extra long day without seeing much of anything.

Rain affected - Called off because or rain. They offered Gibraltar instead. Poured down in Gibraltar... not their fault!

The trip to Doñana... - The trip to Doñana National Park was not quite how I imagined it to be. We saw plenty of deer, four to be exact, and a wild boar, the only problem being that they were all dead. Apparently they had drowned during last week's flooding and we could marvel at their bloated corpses gently rocking in the waves by the fenced roadside. We did see several flocks of live flamingos and nesting storks (also alive), and our driver even managed to catch a Montpellier snake. The drive through the park was rather uncomfortable due to the bad condition of the roads. My sense of discomfort was aggravated by a lack of airconditioning. The driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable but did not seem too keen on interacting with us. Now I don't mind if a tour guide prefers to keep to himself, but coupled with a lack of mammals and a lacklustre landscape I was repeatedly asking myself what had possessed me to book this tour. Don't get me started on El Rocio. This place is a fever dream of a Spanish town, dusty and full of religious fanatics.
Bird afficionados will enjoy this tour though.

I had no experience, and no refund yet - I cannot rate this park because Viator cancelled my trip there due to bad weather, even though it wasn't that bad. A week later, I am STILL waiting for my refund
