Best cooking class - I would highly recommend this cooking class first of all our chef named Oscar was so amazing his humor, his humility, his love of food and South made us like so peaceful, and so harmonious that I would definitely definitely go back again and again and again like I will probably go back every time I’m in Cabo now because of Oscar the place is a gem. It’s so cute. It’s beyond words don’t look at some of the pictures cause they’re not as cute as it really is like honestly, it’s amazing so head your way over and ask if you can get Oscar for your chef for your cooking class we started with roasted vegetables and made our own homemade salsa, then homemade guacamole and of course we finished off ceviche, but you can actually cook whatever you want on the menu like if you want to learn how to make empanadas or tamales you let them know what you wanna cook and you have a three course meal and we were so full at the end of it like we couldn’t even finish all of our food and then the last, but not least best part was That all you can drink margaritas open bar like they were the best mango margaritas I think ever I have a great mixologist at the Alma de Mexico so that’s my review. Enjoy.

Exceptional experience - Absolutely amazing experience! My husband and I did this on our honeymoon and it was such an exclusive experience. Learned a lot about ceviche and all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. We loved how personal and 1 on 1 the tasting was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

10/10 - Will be going again - Id call this a hidden gem, went for more than one class during my time in Cabo San Jose. Everyone there is an absolute delight, home away from home kind of feeling while getting some top knotch service. Great drinks; great people; vibes were amazing.. really could say so much more but I will be bring people here on my next trip

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! A MUST FOR ANYONE TRAVELING TO CABO! - What a day at Karla's Cooking Class! It was such an experience learning authentic Mexican dishes that are so fresh and delicious from Karla herself who when you meet her, you are instantly best friends with such a wonderful and interesting person. She is so knowledgeable about the tastes of Mexico and did I mention, so personable. This was the highlight of our trip to Cabo and would highly recommend an afternoon with Karla as part of your trip - you will instantly be part of Karla's family and will learn a thing or two about Mexican culture and their wonderful food. Next time back to Cabo, we will definitely be spending time with Karla and her family again!

Authentic and fun - So much fun! Delicious and entertaining! A great time all around! Chef and staff amazing! Loved spending time together talking and learning about food and sharing her knowledge.

Amazing Atmosphere and Food - We loved the whole experience, from the eclectic shops around the restaurant, to the aprons and cooking outfits we were given, to the fresh food we got to prepare! It was an intimate setting and Karla was a wonderful instructor!

TOTAL BLAST! - So much fun! Karla and her staff were charming, fun, and very knowledgeable! It was such a great experience to make local favorites such as salsa, guacamole and ceviche! Add a tequila tasting and the good times start rolling. Hey, it’s five o’clock somewhere! Somebody pass that lost shaker of salt…

Wrong price for what I got - I was very disappointed. For the price it was not what I wanted or expected.This was supposed to be a real cooking class and for $125 per person I expected more. I have done classes in Paris for this price and they were great. Instead what I got was a class making guacamole and salsa. I'm from Southern California, I make those things a couple times a week. As far as the tequila and mezcal tasting that was not highlighted and they simply offered us any drinks we wanted. The lady and staff who hosted were very nice but no, I would not recommend this class at least not for this price point.
