With more than 38 years of experience in sharing a passion for sailing with visitors to San Diego, the operator is ready to provide a memorable day at sea. The 2.5-hour tour duration is ideal for taking in all the stunning sights. Catamarans offer more fun with their unique bow nets designed for sunbathing and relaxing while observing sea life and the water rushing by. Their swift and stable ocean design ensures a comfortable and thrilling ride, free from the rolling and leaning that often leads to seasickness on other boats. Turn left into Sunroad Marina just before flag pole. Go through the parking gate (pay lot) and park on left side of parking lot. Wait for your Captain at Gate 1 (says A thru D yellow chairs).

Most awesome sailing ever. - Most enjoyable sailing adventure ever! Ryan was skillful and EXTREMELY knowledgable about wind, currents, and local historical significance. This will be on my to do list for every visit to San Diego.

Great experience ride - Prepaid for high steps. Nice cool breeze on the water.beautiful sites for pictures. The Captain was great and very knowledgeable about the Harbor.

Best Sailing Experience You Can Find in San Diego! - Best sailing experience I've had ever had -and I'm a native of San Diego. This a rare chance to sail on a Catamaran completely powered by its sails! The cat is beautiful - small enough so that it's an intimate trip with friends or family, but big enough that we could sit back and relax or hang our toes over the water while spotting sea lions and pelicans on the water. Capt Ryan couldn't have been more knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming! This is the perfect way to enjoy the ocean and views of Coronado island and the San Diego Harbor. We're already talking about going back!

Great Experience! - We had a great time!
We've done a lot of activities and several weekend trips to San Diego but had never gone sailing. It was almost a private experience since there happened to only be 4 of us there for that trip (could have been 6, which is still not bad at all). We apparently had the best sail of the day! We got to learn some about the area and got out far on the water.
I was nervous about potential seasickness (being on a medication where I sometimes have nausea issues). I was wearing cheap seasick bands but didn't have any issues.
Enjoyed music, drinks, and a relaxing ride at 11am. Definitely worth the money!

Highly Recommend - It was a great time! Captain Kaya was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable of the San Diego area and shared fun facts on the trip. The small group size was really nice. Drinks were served on board.

Best sailing adventure if you want to really feel like you're close to the water! - We had a great time on our sail this past weekend. We've done several sails in the San Diego bay, but this was our first catamaran. We loved the smaller cat with the net. It felt amazing to be on the ocean and so close to the water. Our Captain was Ryan and he was friendly and knowledgeable. This was a really fun sail, and I would recommend Fun Cat to others.
