During the journey, we explore the harbor and visit landmarks such as the downtown skyline, Coronado Bay Bridge, the Embarcadero, and the Midway aircraft carrier. Sea lions, seabirds, and often dolphins are frequently spotted. With small group sizes, it feels like sailing with friends. Passionate about sailing, we turn off the motor as soon as possible to let you enjoy the tranquility of the wind in the sails. Our catamarans are spacious and comfortable for guests of all ages, offering multiple seating areas to find your perfect spot. Convenient bathroom facilities are available on board. Guests are welcome to take the wheel and feel the power of the sails. While we may not be the cheapest option, our “World Class” crew is well-compensated, ensuring a fantastic experience and memorable moments.

Amazing intimate experience - Captain Ryan was awesome - very informative and super nice. Made sure we were all taken care of with drinks and blankets. We had an amazing time. Nice intimate setting - well worth the price!

A must do experience in San Diego! - Captain Ryan is amazing. He is warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable of the history of San Diego. We did a sunset sail all through San Diego bay and it was fantastic. The boat is big and comfortable and easily accommodated our party of 7. The views of downtown San Diego and Coronado island from the water were incredible. Bring a good camera! For anyone visiting San Diego this is must do experience.

We’ve been in SD for 3... - We’ve been in SD for 3 days, sight seeing and having a great time in a beautiful city, but we definitely saved the BEST for the last experience here. This sunset sail was absolutely breathtaking beautiful and the Captain of our boat was so friendly and full of knowledge he shared with us on this wonderful little cruise!! Couldn’t have been any better!!

Sunset sail on boutique charter. - What a fun sunset sail! A friend booked for a birthday celebration. The captain was awesome. A local of San Diego his family going back generations back to the 50s. This is a boutique sail trip. We’ve done the big party boats, which are fun but you’re looking for space and don’t necessarily get quality time with your friends. This is personal and private and just damn fun. If you’re considering it just book!

Beautiful fun time with friends - Was in San Diego to visit friends and they suggested we take an evening to sail the bay with Fun Cat Sailing. The catmaran is stable and amazing to sail the bay while watching the sunset, having a few drinks, while hanging out with friends (including hanging our feet off the bow). Ryan was a great captain and sailed us beneath the Coronado bridge, alongside the navy ships, and cruised us along the banks as people waved, "hello." Great experience, highly recommend sailing with the Fun Cat catamaran!

Relaxing Intimiate Cruise with Gorgeous Views 🌅 - Such an easy and fun experience! Our group of friends had the best time cruising the bay—saw the Coronado Bridge, downtown skyline, and so many pretty views. Captain Ryan was super chill, sweet, and really accommodating, which made it all the more relaxing for our friend’s birthday. Couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a day on the water!
Also, compared to the big cruise lines, the intimate atmosphere and attention is our local go-to from now on!
