• Parroquia San Antonio de Padua - Culture and history enthusiasts should begin their visit at the main square, Ruiz de Arellano, which houses the parish of San Antonio de Padua. Here, you can learn about how the first Spanish conquistadors used noble materials imported from Europe, like wood and floor tiles, to start building the city around 1730.

• Boliche de Bessonart Bar - Opened over 200 years ago, El Boliche de Bessonart pub features a sloping facade reminiscent of the Tower of Pisa, period render, an unusual roof, and two main rooms that have helped it endure through the years.

• La Olla de Cobre - The artisanal chocolate factory La Olla de Cobre is famous throughout the province. People from Buenos Aires often travel to San Antonio de Areco specifically to purchase their delicious chocolates and renowned alfajores. It’s a must-visit for gourmets.

• Museo Gauchesco y Parque Criollo Ricardo Guiraldes - The Ricardo Güiraldes museum offers various insights into Argentina’s past, particularly regarding the gauchos: their customs, equipment, and livelihoods. It also delves into the life of the writer Ricardo Güiraldes.

• Estancia El Ombu de Areco - With your guide, you’ll visit an Estancia located 15 minutes from town in the middle of the Pampa plains. After a brief tour of the Estancia and a horseback or carriage ride to explore some of the 400-hectare property, you’ll enjoy a delicious asado lunch under the shade of century-old trees.
