Carlos keen - 8:30 am | Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Buenos Aires to head to Carlos Keen town.
9:30 am | Upon arriving at the stud-farm, the gauchos will invite you to fetch the criollo horses from the nearby meadow and explain the gaucho riding equipment terminology to you.
After introductions, you’ll dress and saddle your horse….

Carlos keen - 8:30 am | Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Buenos Aires to head to Carlos Keen town.
9:30 am | Upon arriving at the stud-farm, the gauchos will invite you to fetch the criollo horses from the nearby meadow and explain the gaucho riding equipment terminology to you.
After introductions, you’ll dress and saddle your horse. Now you’re ready to ride!
Throughout the day, you will traverse dirt roads flanked by wheat and soy fields, cattle farms, and estancias. You will also pass through a stunning forest of acacia trees, alternating between walking, trotting, and even galloping if you wish!
1 pm | After two hours of riding, it will be time for lunch. You will enjoy a traditional BBQ lunch with your gaucho guide, and have the chance to try maté while soaking in the rural ambiance.
2:30 pm | You will then reunite with your horse and continue riding to explore the historic center of Carlos Keen town. Afterward, you will ride through meadows where large herds of cows graze.
4:30 pm | Return to the stud farm and then back to Buenos Aires city.

Amazing Day Horseback Riding in the Counryside - My Girlfriend and I wanted a Horseback riding day in the country, small group size, not watching dancing and singing shows and needed transportation from BA. We did not want all the tourist fluff. We got everything we wanted and more with this - we are so glad we went with this trip. The gauchos were great, genuine and very helpful - the horses were great as well - **Note - if you have experience horseback riding and think you might be marginal but not a pro - still say you have advanced experience when they ask you in horse selection - especially if you want to go fast - have a responsive horse etc. The Asado lunch they prepared was perfect - lots of wine and desert and Mate if requested. We had a nice couple from Cali with us and it was great conversation and a great time in general. There was another BA local woman that joined us that has ridden with them multiple times.. Return customers should tell you everything. Even the driver that picked us up was very good, arrived early, (only preferred Spanish so note that, my GF is fluent so a lot of them talking but he was very nice. Ya’ll this group was an easy 5 star and we would go with them again.

Wonderful day spent on an Argentinian horse - Such a terrific day. We really enjoyed our time with our guide, Marcelo. The horses were terrific too. It was quite muddy after a full day of rain the day before so we kept the ride slow. But it was a gorgeous day and really fun. Pablo had a wonderful lunch waiting for us during our lunch break.

A great ride in the country - A 2 hours drive from Buenos Aires to the farm where we had a very memorable ride with Marcello - a true horseman/gaucho! Horses were sound, quiet, and easy to ride. They are clearly well cared for and were outfitted with comfortable (but unusual) saddles. The countryside was beautiful with opportunities to canter and gallop for those interested. Lunch was BBQ Al fresco with red and white wine offered. I highly recommend this excursion and underscore that Marcello was an exceptional host.

Great experience - Great service. We were picked & dropped back to our hotel. Marcelo was a great host. Made sure we were comfortable on our horses & off we went exploring. It was a fun day.

Highlight of visit so far. - Our driver Juan was very entertaining on journey to ranch and we discussed everything from politics sport and culture and got some great insights. Arriving at ranch the gaucho were very welcoming and got us paired with horses suited to us. Off we went on the first leg and along the pampas and free to chose to get a few gallops in if desired which the horses really enjoyed. Back for BBQ lunch and the food was so tasty and the mix of nationalities really gelled around the table with great banter while sipping the vino. Round two and back on horseback with taking in a village with a canter through the central park and arriving back at stables. Saddles off and hosing down our steeds where they rolled around in the sand in the paddock like teenagers on a night out. Fantastic day out!!

Best day riding horses with Pablo! - I had an incredible day riding horses with Pablo! I visited on a weekday, so I was lucky enough to be the only person on the tour. I got personalized attention according to my skill and experience which was amazing. Pablo taught me to trot and cantor which I was hesitant to do at first but got more comfortable as the day progressed. Pablo also pointed out important sites as we rode through the fields and the town so I got a good idea about life in Carlos Keen. It was such a wonderful day and I was sad when it ended, especially because I was finally ready to try galloping. I had already rode in the Andes in Mendoza and while fun, that was a true tourist activity while this was real riding. I can't recommend Pablo and this horseback riding experience enough!

Great day on horseback - A Fantastic day trip! Great horses. I owned horses in my youth. The guide spoke English was jovial and professional. The country side pleasant and perfect for a trot or canter.

Fun horse riding day - It was such a beautiful day. The horse riding was so much fun and lunch was amazing. Only thing I would say is that English wasn’t really spoken. Luckily we had another tourist translate for us
