This scientific institution is where the geology and paleontology of the Badlands have been defined and comprehended. Time spent here with local experts will broaden your understanding of what lies ahead. Please note, the museum is closed on Sundays and Federal Holidays.
• Badlands National Park - The Badlands are as vast and varied as they are legendary. Fortunately, this is a private tour, allowing you the freedom to choose how to spend your time. Here are our recommendations: 1) Visit the ghost town of Scenic, SD, and the remote Sheep Mountain Table area, a rarely seen location ready for you to explore and understand; 2) Travel along the Badlands Scenic Byway, stopping at the park visitor center and several overlooks and trails.
• Wall Drug - Wall Drug is a quintessential American Roadside Attraction! It stands as a tribute to the free enterprise system. A visit here will renew your faith in entrepreneurship and the right way to do things. Plus, you can enjoy a meal and purchase souvenirs.
• Minuteman Missile National Historic Site - This National Historic Site offers insights into the Cold War and the missile fields that once existed here. The site has limited days and hours of operation. You can visit the preserved missile silo and visitor center when open, or choose to spend more time in the Badlands or another location. The decision is yours.

All tours are PRIVATE TOURS, exclusive to the group that books them, with no additional guests included. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 3 and under are free and will have their own seat. Families must provide car seats for children when necessary. Our fleet includes SUVs, and a van can be rented for larger groups. Please inquire about vehicle options if you have any questions. This tour is ideal for multi-generational families with children, multiple couples, and groups of friends.

• GEOFUNTREK TOURS SAFETY UPDATE COVID-19 Your comfort and safety are our primary concern. Take a private tour, limited to your group only and enjoy the day. We have only three guides: John, Chris & Cindy. They are family members from the same household. They constantly monitor each other’s health. So even when not at work “THE BOSS” is always watching. We do not have vehicles with a wheelchair lift. We can accommodate a folding wheechair and the guest must be able to enter and exit the vehicle on their own. We will gladly assist with any needed assistance and pushing.
