This includes workshops shedding light on environment and rural culture and immerses visitors in the enthralling and mystical realm of birds of prey, fabulous creatures showcasing profound stature. Gradually, you’ll gain nature-inspired understanding of the lives of various birds of prey that inhabit our centre. You could meet Shira, our noble eagle owl, Cloud, the intriguing barn owl, Zeus, the mischievous buzzard, among numerous others. All these can be explored through a narrative interwoven with biology, concluding with a breathtaking encounter with Abel, the golden eagle, where you’ll be close enough to hear his heart pound! The thrill is sure to be overwhelming! However, if you’re anticipating a circus or a zoo experience, you might want to reconsider your visit.

Abel, the.queen of the peaks - A unique experience, especially if you are already aware, even if only partially, of the animal world you are about to discover. Thanks to the majestic beauty of the places - which goes perfectly with the object of the visit -, to the mysteriousness of the birds that you will see and, above all, thanks to Roberto's exceptional preparation on the subject - who will satisfy every little question - you will be truly enraptured by the whole thing. And this even if you are not particularly nature lovers. Definitely recommended (children - and not only - will be fascinated). Thanks, Roberto

Unique experience - We gladly returned to the Setteventi del Pollino park managed by Mr. Roberto, who is a kind, passionate and competent person, introduced us to the world of birds of prey, enlightening us about everything behind the care and protection of these splendid animals and their way of life. We spent fantastic hours in close contact with his birds of prey: owls, barn owls, buzzards, eagles. It was an interesting and exciting environmental experience in a unique place with a view of Civita and the Raganello gorges. Thanks to Roberto, honorary naturalist and ethologist.

unique experience in the presence of the majestic birds of prey - unique experience. We went specifically to Bari on the advice of friends. The area is easy to reach and is a stone's throw from Civita, a beautiful village with a crazy history within the Gole del Raganello nature reserve. After having lunch among the imposing hills of the Pollino national park we reached (3 minutes by car) the Setteventi del Pollino park managed by Mr. Roberto, a kind, passionate and ultra-competent person who welcomed us and immediately introduced us to the world of birds of prey. We spent fantastic hours in a wooded area in close contact with hawks, owls, barn owls, eagles... excited and unthinkable for those who live in the city. Roberto is a master who gives you an immersive naturalistic experience in the world of birds of prey surrounded by accurate explanations of their history and biology. It is not a circus show, it is an encounter with majestic beings, protagonists and custodians of the ancient art of Falconry, a true symbiosis between man and sky.

A fantastic day - The place is beautiful, whoever welcomed us was kind and very thorough. He really explained a lot to us about birds of prey. The specimens seen are surprising, especially His Majesty Abel. It was nice to find out more and dispel many negative myths about falconers. We ate an excellent convivial lunch. We took lots of photos. The whole family is super nice and welcoming. The children were enthusiastic and had a lot of fun. They loved being able to put on the falconer's glove and pet the barn owl. The village was lovely and the treasure hunt was super fun.

Indescribable emotions - Tiptoe into the wonderful world of birds of prey and their habitat and enjoy a magical experience! Always curious, thanks to this "interactive" visit, I discovered many incredible things that I never imagined. The care, love and dedication of Roberto and his son Pietro are extraordinary. They were fantastic hours in which I erased everyday worries and thoughts to completely immerse myself in nature and history. I would like to sincerely thank the hosts, both human and predatory, for giving us this fantastic day and I promise myself to return. I highly recommend it to everyone, adults and children, I guarantee! PS: I give a rating of 5 because you can't give more.
