Unforgettable experience - I wanted to thank Roberto and his family for making us spend a very pleasant day. Visit to the village of Civita with stories of unpublished anecdotes and suggestive legends. The afternoon spent with his beautiful birds of prey was exciting and full of curiosity and details. Thank you for the wonderful day that will remain in our hearts.

Special experience in Civita - With a last minute reservation, my husband and I experienced a beautiful day in Civita in the company of Roberto and his family.
Guided tour of the village of Civita, with an interactive story of the history of the Albanian and Cassano communities in the area; myths, legends and history about the devil's bridge, the famous "talking houses" and the town warehouse.
The experience with the birds of prey that Roberto and his family take care of is fantastic: you can sense a great love and respect for the animals, which they look after every day with great dedication.
The wife was very nice and kindly prepared a delicious lunch for us.
We'll be back

TOP OF THE TOP! ✨❤️ - Civita is an enchanting town, full of history, culture and breathtaking natural assets. Roberto and his son Pietro were spectacular in involving us in this magnificent experience. With Roberto and Pietro telling the story lived by these people, during the siege of the Turks, what the Magazeno was and how it was used during the management of Skanderbeg's niece, the conflicts that existed between them and the people of Cassano, etc. ., we really identified with the Arbëreshë. Also wonderful are the legends behind the Devil's Bridge, the talking houses and the 56 particular chimneys of the other houses in the village. Exquisite welcome and perfect lunch cooked by Roberto's wife. Very nice family, welcoming and full of culture and love for their country. The birds of prey experience was a dream. Roberto showed us his creatures up close and told us some very interesting things about them and how he looks after them and protects them with so much love, passion and tenacity! You are spectacular! If there had been more than 5 stars, I would have gladly given them. Thank you so much for everything for this wonderful experience. We will also bring our friends to do the other excursions!! ❤️❤️

Magical. I was left speechless. - What can I say, a unique, magical and sensational experience. We explored the village of Civita thanks to the guidance of Roberto and his son Pietro. Thanks to them I got to know the history of Civita in depth. The lunch was impeccable and delicious. Wonderful experience in the end with the birds of prey and their wild and at the same time delicate world. I highly recommend this experience both to those who, like me, belong to the Calabrian area and to those coming from outside!
I would like to give 10 stars and not 5 and I would like to thank Roberto, children and wife again. You are fantastic! We will definitely be back!!

MANDATORY STAGE - A few days ago we came across this magnificent experience almost by chance... Roberto is a truly commendable, helpful and knowledgeable person, in addition to having scrupulously explained the history and legends of the village of Civita to us, he managed to involve us in the spectacular world of "his" birds of prey and more... enlightening us on everything that lies behind the care and protection of these splendid animals and everything that surrounds us.
Experience lived in a magical place from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the landscape and the Raganello gorges.
It was not just a "guided tour", but a real life lesson for me and my family, in my opinion a MUST STOP for anyone in the vicinity.

Fantastic experience!!! - My family and I (5 adults) spent Easter day in the company of Roberto and his crew. In the morning he accompanied us, together with his competent son Pietro, to visit the wonderful village of Civita, telling us with patience and in great detail the history of the town, since its geological foundation, passing through the Arbereshe settlement and the unification of the rites Christians, immersing us in all the history and tradition of the place. We got to explore the devil's bridge and come into contact with the local flora. For lunch we changed location and had lunch with Roberto's wonderful family who didn't let us miss anything! The cuisine of Mrs. Loreta and the kind Roberta made us feel at home, for the typical Easter lunch like family. After lunch we immersed ourselves in the highlight of the experience: the encounter with the birds of prey. Roberto and Pietro presented us with several wonderful specimens, explaining how they live in nature and making us become familiar with them. The feeling was of being immersed in a documentary but live! But the most positive thing about the experience was the fact that Roberto not only gave us interesting information about the world of birds of prey, but he gave us all his passion and respect for these splendid animals.
Highly recommended experience, also suitable (perhaps even more so) for children.

Great experience - A wonderful experience! Roberto involved us in a fascinating world of legends, history, botany and much more. It fascinated us adults and especially our 8 and 10 year old girls. After a beautiful excursion to Civita and the devil's bridge we had the pleasure of enjoying an exquisite lunch prepared by his very kind wife Loretta. We felt at home, a simple and truly relaxing experience... Which prepared us for the real surprise of the day... THE PRETTY!!!! Roberto introduced us to a fascinating and wonderful world. Co made us understand how extraordinary these animals are. All with great respect for these animals. It's not a theater show or a circus. It is truly a journey of knowledge... Entering silently and with great respect into a special world. We liked everything. An extraordinary experience for adults and children.. With a big project as the end. If you pass through Pollino you MUST spend a day with this family. Worth every minute spent together. Above all to teach children how important nature is and how much respect we owe it. We will definitely be back in May with a group of friends... We are already planning!!!!!

...let's not forget that we are the most varied, beautiful and rich country in the world!! - Civita and Pollino Park. Delightful to walk through the streets of the ancient village. The Church: splendid example of Byzantine art that captivates you with its vivid colours. Along the streets you meet friendly people who offer you useful advice... The Devil's Bridge: suggestive, with a fascinating history.... The Raganello gorges: " .... why go all the way to America when we have the canyons in Italy?!?"
