Lovely Skye Experience for Family of 6 - Doug was the absolute BEST driver around Skye. He took us to places I’d never known of that were absolutely beautiful. He was quick to answer all our questions, provided lovely beverages for us to try, and took wonderful photos of our family as a group. The area is simply breathtaking and I would go on this tour again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Skye day tour - Excellent tour of Skye. Our driver, Carole, was simply superb. She expertly shepherded us around the island, providing much information and history all along the way. Driving on Skye requires great skill and nerve as many of the roads are single lane with only small spaces for passing oncoming cars. Carole was very proficient at navigating them. Carole has a proper Scottish accent but she was easy to understand and converse with and great company for a full day trip. I don’t believe you could do better. Thank you Carole for a marvelous tour of the island.

Wonderful, Carefree Trip to Skye - We booked the Private Bespoke Skye Tour and had an absolutely fantastic day with our guide, Lewis. He drove our family of four in a clean and super comfortable 8-seater van, stocked with water and snacks—a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. Lewis was everything you'd hope for in a guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and completely in control on the narrow Highland roads. His driving skills gave us total peace of mind, and he managed the day with a perfect balance—keeping us on schedule while still making time for the can’t-miss views and a few hidden gems along the way. We learned so much about the area, and appreciated the relaxed, engaging conversation throughout. My favorite stop was the stunning view of Kilt Rock, but honestly, every part of the day felt special thanks to Lewis. He clearly knows the region inside and out and takes real pride in creating a great experience for his guests. Don’t miss a trip to Skye! We can't recommend this tour—and Lewis—highly enough.

An unforgettable experience and an epic adventure on the Isle of Skye with tour guide Callum. - Tour Guide Scotland with Mr. Callum, a day at Isle of Skye. Callum is a true Scottish gentleman, full of knowledge and a passion for storytelling about Scotland and the Isle of Skye, guiding three curious Danish women. It was an unforgettable trip – perfectly arranged and planned – and Callum made all the difference… perhaps the good weather helped a Little bit too. A big and heartfelt THANK YOU and recommendation to Callum 🙏

Best Way to see the Isle of Skye - My wife and I were on a cruise that had a 1-day stop in the Isle of Skye. The private tour enabled us to make every second count. We were able to beat the crowds in the most popular places and spend the time we wanted in the places we chose. Our Tour Guide was great--she was friendly, funny, and had insider knowledge that helped make our day truly memorable. What a great day in an amazing place!!!

Wonderful Tour of Skye - The tour was a bit pricey (charged per person rather than by car) BUT worth every penny! Callum was local and could provide commentary and knowledge of our sites that only someone who was from the Isles could provide. Excellent driver, knew where to take us to see the sights and was a pleasure to spend the day with

Fantastic guide and breathtaking experience - Our guide, Carole, pick us up on time and on our way we discussed different ideas we had as to what to do and she gave us some ideas that would utilise our time best. Dunvegan Castle was stunning, not only the castle itself, the beautiful gardens but also the interior, you could really imagine people through the ages living in this amazing place. The gardens were a delight to walk through even though the weather was a bit hit and miss. The Fairy Pools lived up to their name. The waterfalls were unbelievable especially if like us you had never seen a real one and the pools were so clear you could see the bottom, with a little imagination even the teenagers could see the fairies whipping along the water. It took us about 30mins to walk, from the car park, to the first pool. There were a few parts that were slightly steep but nothing unmanageable, no moaning from kids, and we all enjoyed the landscape and wildlife along the way. Carole told us that Portree is the main town on the isle, again the landscape was amazing. We spent some time watching the boats at the harbour and we walked around the quaint town where we also had something to eat. We popped into the Visitor Centre which was interesting as well as educational and of course we got some souvenirs. Everything from going over the Skye bridge (twice), the activities and the stunning landscape was an absolute delight we could not come to agreement what we enjoyed the most. Our guide Carole was wonderful, she was chatty and knowledgeable. We told her what we had looked at prior to the tour and she gave us various ideas of what we could do. Her suggestions were spot on for our group. I cannot fault anything about our experience and would recommend this tour company to anyone. Thank you for a great day Carole

Not Great - While the day was nice and we did see some beautiful scenery, the van had 3 of our group in backward facing seats which wasn’t enjoyable for them. One of the reasons we booked the tour was to see Fairy Glen, which we didn’t get to see. The tour guide never communicated we weren’t going to see it even though it was part of the tour. Very disappointed. He gave us timelines at each stop and we adhered to the schedule so I don’t what went wrong. We didn’t find out that we weren’t going to see Fairy Glen until I asked and we were on the way back. I contacted the tour and received a response that if I ever come back, they would take us the site we missed. To us, not a great response. We loved Scotland and if we returned we would book with Mike at Historic and Scenic Tours.

Disappointing Experience! - What we were promised to see as an itinerary for the day was never fulfilled. We wanted a full day to hike & explore Isle of Skye. Our guide Dougie was very nice, but never was told what we wanted to do. We did see the Fairy Pools and Urquhart Castle(from a distance). We never got to Portree or that side of Isle of Skye which was promised. A huge disappointment for all of us.I reached out to Gillian about the situation and no response.
