Our journey will start with a reminiscent trip to the Highland Folk Museum, famous for its appearance in Outlander as the Mackenzie village. Next, we will explore Ruthven Barracks, an early 18th-century fortification, and a rallying point for Jacobites after the Battle of Culloden.
Moving on, we visit Loch an Eilein, with its stunning mirrored reflections of towering pines and the remnants of an island castle.
Our adventure continues as we drive up to the Cairngorm mountain car park, where you can marvel at the expansive valley views, indulge in a brief walk, or relax with a hot cup of coffee.
We will then pay a visit to Loch Morlich beach on our way down to the village of Aviemore, rounding off the outing with a taste of whisky at the Snug, or Gin tasting options at Kinrara and Cairngorm Brewery.
To wrap up the day, we will end with a delightful sheepdog demonstration.
