What a great tour! - Loved this tour! Our guide (I am horrifically bad with names, I'm so sorry) was fantastic, telling us not only about the lighthouses and the Portland area, but giving us a ton of great recommendations on restaurants, activities and more. Tons of personality. Tons of fun. Tons of history and fun facts. I'd love to bring the rest of my family and do this tour again.

Amazing and Informative - Tour was amazing. It was a nice small group. The ladies conducting the tour were awesome. They were very friendly and full of interesting information. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see some lighthouses and learn about the Portland area. Hope to do a summer tour next time we are in Maine.

A fun winter tour of Portland’s lighthouses - Eric grew up in Portland and his family is in lobstering so he’s very knowledgeable in Portland history and the workings in the lobster industry. He’s also very personable and down to earth making this tour feel like you’re hanging out with a friend and unscripted. The meeting spot is at Portland Beer Hub which is also a great start and finish to the tour. As the other reviews state, this is a tour not to pass on.

Great Tour with very knowledgeable local family business - We took the winter lighthouse tour in mid January. It was cold, but fun! We would definitely take this tour again or others from this company. They are very attentive, shared a ton of information, and made the trip comfortable, relaxing, and fun.

Must do in Portland - This was a great tour, not only to view all of the gorgeous lighthouses but also because it's led by a true Portlander who comes from a lobstering family so he was also able to give us that information about Portland. I can't recommend it enough, the two hours flew by.

Something wonderful awaits in Portland, ME - Many classic attractions which would normally answer the question of what to do in Portland are unavailable after October, so it was with relief and joy that I spotted the Winter Tour. We were met with a smile, invited onboard a comfortable, warm and spotless van, and regaled from the very start with pertinent, entertaining, informative and even personal anecdotes by our host, Eric. This is a family business, and this is a family working together...to the benefit of their guests. We were given a running commentary on every thing , fact, and notable person by our native guide. As promised, we visited 3 lighthouses with plenty of time to take photos and take in the breathtaking views. Questions were welcomed and answered with knowledge and humor. As we cruised the city and the waterfront, we were given an intimate view of the lives of those who ply the waters for a living, including Eric's Dad, who is a lobsterman. The Fishmarket was a revelation in seafood...we brought a tub of clam chowder and fresh salmon spread to our hotel room for a mini-feast. Delicious! This tour was definitely the BRIGHT spot in a weekend of cold, misty, sleety days of November. My take is that if they can get this much out of a WINTER tour, how impressive must they be in the gentler seasons?
