Hunter Valley Wineries - Embark on a journey to explore and visit locally owned and operated small-batch winemakers and cellar doors. We avoid the large commercial brands found in bottle shops. Instead, we support the small winemakers who are the heart and soul of the Hunter Valley, often overlooked in favor of big names despite their incredible hidden gems. Be prepared to be surprised and delighted as we introduce you to winemakers and cellar doors you may not have known about.
Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop - Hunter Valley boasts numerous local cheese shops and dairies. It offers the finest local, Australian, and imported artisan cheeses, gourmet delights, cured meats, and accompaniments, including takeaway cheese platters. There are plenty of cheeses and condiments available to fill your shopping cart. This visit to the cheese shop may include product samples for you to try, but it is not a paid tasting.
Hunter Valley Chocolate Company - We visit one of the many chocolate shops in the Hunter Valley. You’ll have time to browse the shop and make any purchases. Often, the shop provides complimentary samples of their products for you to try.
The Garden Cellars - We stop by the Garden Cellars to experience boutique wines and locally made spirits like gins and vodkas. This is your last chance to purchase any alcohol or last-minute gifts.
Pokolbin - We offer complimentary pick-up from your Pokolbin accommodation. If you are outside the local Pokolbin area, you may need to pay a pick-up fee or meet the tour bus at the Hunter Valley Roche Estate on McDonalds Road, Pokolbin.

Join us on our full day wine tasting experience where you will enjoy visiting four (4) local Hunter Valley boutique cellar doors.
You’ll get to enjoy trying fantastic small batch boutique wines from wine labels found only in the Hunter Valley
You’ll be sampling between six to nine different wines at each boutique cellar door sitting you have (that’s a lot of wine to try in one day)
You’ll enjoy a relaxed casual style lunch with a glass of local wine
You’ll stop to sampling some local cheese and chocolates. You can buy some to take home to share with your family and friends.

Great day in the Hunter! - A fantastic tour with friendly and knowledgeable guide. Booking was easy and efficient. Pick up and drop off from our accommodation. Comfortable transport. Boutique wineries visited were excellent and lunch from the Italian Table was amazing. A great day!

Hunter Valley Tours - Exceptional service & experience. - A fantastic day out with Pippa from Hunter Valley tours. We visited bespoke, boutique wineries and stopped for a delicious lunch. Pippa is a fabulous tour guide who is knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Wines and kangaroos! - Nice company, fine wines, food and cheese. And we got to see live kangaroos on multiple occasions! All in a beautiful scenery. This was very much worth the money.

Perfect wine tasting day in HV - Julie set up a perfect day of wine tasting for us. She knew exactly when we needed food, when we were ready to move to the next winery, and her pick of wineries were a perfect fit for us.

Worth it! - Great experience. Our accommodation was 20km out of the Hunter but Julie was nice enough to organise a lift for us. All vineyards were great. Food was pretty awesome. Would gladly do it again! Thanks for the great birthday weekend

Fantastic Hunter Valley small winery tour. - Friendly bus driver. Plenty of & good range of wines to taste at smaller family owned wineries. Pick up & drop off at accommodation. Shared the experience with 3 other couples from Australia & NZ.

Great time had by all - The bus driver Bruce was amazing. He was polite, kind and funny as well as he couldnt do enough for us even going out to get some pkts of chips as some of us hadnt eaten before the tour. The wineries were boutique specalist there was only one winery that were not pleasant and rude. Bruce was so apologetic. Otherwise a good day was had by all. Love the cheese and chocolate at the end of the tour.

Excellent wine tasting, lunch disappointing. - We visited some lovely vineyards and the hosts were very welcoming. The wines were excellent. The driver (Bruce) was great and very relaxed. The lunch was a picnic and similar to the chees board morning snack, rather than the sample menu on the advert, which was disappointing.
