Absolute Highlight - Myself and friends attended this class thanks to a recommendation of some friends back in Australia, and oh boy are we glad they did! We had such an amazing experience. Antonio and his family made us all feel so welcome in their home. The night was filled with constant laughter, amazing food and the wine was flowing! The food was delicious but with Antonio’s help we all very confident we could achieve it back home. Antonio also organised transfers for everyone which was such a help with us staying in Mondello rather than Palmero. This was the highlight of our trip to Palmero!

Very fun and laid back cooking class with a world class chef! - Chef Antonio and his family were the perfect hosts. They all worked together to give us the best cooking experience possible. He gave us great information about the local ingredients we were using and tips to verify freshness in those ingredients. He also sent us the recipes (pdf) for everything we made afterwords! And even one we didn’t make ;) But only because I asked for it. The food was amazing, the wine and the company was even better. I highly recommend this class if you really want a taste of the Italian culture. And Chef Antonio is just the best, you’ll love him!

An unforgettable evening in Antonio’s kitchen! - Book this amazing experience as soon as you can! Antonio and his family provided my friends and I with an unforgettable evening and we can highly recommend the instruction, the food, and conversation (and laughter). Antonio communicated early and often about our plans, including about allergies and whether we needed transport (we did). His son picked us up and dropped us off which was a blessing because driving in Palermo is challenging! After we arrived we had good conversation while we waited for the other guests to arrive. Then the fun began! We ate mussels, prawns, pasta, caponata, bruschetta, swordfish, pistachio cream, all prepared in the outdoor kitchen next to the fig tree, jasmine vine and herb garden. Everything was so fresh! The mint, basil, parsley…picked just minutes before we ate. We ate family style at the dining table with a light bright white wine to accompany the amazing food. Antonio has an interesting background that he shares openly as well as opening his home to his guests. Thank you, Antonio, Salvo, and your family for your hospitality!

A family friendly Wine and dine experience to remember - Fab class by Antonio. The couple with my family was sweet and engaging. Antonio taught us about the local food and culture. We paid extra to get picked up from Airbnb and it was definitely worth it for us (Palermo drivers are crazy compared to drivers in the states). The food was excellent and Antonio catered towards all dietary restrictions without making others feel neglected of delicious flavors. 1000% recommend! Last but not least, the wine Antonio serves (at no additional cost) is DEVINE! I can’t find it in Western NY, so if anyone has a lead on that let me know 😂

Fantastic Social Cooking Experience - We had such a fantastic time with Antonio! He's such a lovely, down to earth guy who truly loves what he does and that shines through and through. The food and atmosphere were really amazing. We had an absolutely blast. Highly, highly recommend.
