Join an exciting snowshoe adventure in Oslomarka! Discover the breathtaking winter scenery of Oslomarka with snowshoes strapped to your feet.
The journey begins outside the Oslo Visitor Centre at the lively Jernbanetorget. Participants will board the Frognerseteren metro line for a picturesque train ride offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
This tour is designed for everyone, and the team excels at tailoring the experience to match guests’ skill levels. The guides will provide all necessary instructions to ensure safety and comfort throughout the tour.
Guides will accompany participants every step of the way, highlighting the best spots and sharing fascinating insights about Norwegian winter traditions and the local wildlife. Be on the lookout for deer, foxes, and other creatures as the group traverses the forest.
After exploring the winter wonderland, the group will return to the metro station and conclude the trip at Jernbanetorget.

The snowshoe hike was the... - The snowshoe hike was the highlight of my trip to Norway! Lin, the guide, was very sweet and helpful not only in the use of the snowshoes (I was a complete beginner!), but also helped to give recommendations for things to do in the city and tips on using the tram/metro lines. The whole group was very nice, and I especially enjoyed meeting and chatting with my fellow solo traveler, Sarah! We were very fortunate to get our trip in as the snow was beginning to dwindle in Oslo.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it!

A must do in Oslo. Breathtaking scenery and great guide . - This is a Beautiful hiking walk in the snowy forest trails just 1/2hr north on train from Oslo . Our guide was an experienced walker/runner called. Lin, she was an Oslo resident whose passion for life and nature shone through. She made everyone feel welcome and at ease, especially those of us solo travellers. Lin made sure we all had fun “ safely”. The snowshoe experience was very new to me but with simple instructions soon got the hang of them. It was sheer joy to be walking in such a breathtaking location in the winter snow! Highly recommend this hike trek , all you need is reasonable health/ ability and to be able to walk for couple hours. Best experience I have done in Norway so far. Thank you Lin. I hope to walk with you again in the summer 💖 and thank you to all fellow hikers! You were all lovely - so nice to meet such lovely people ( especially Kelly from USA if you read this!!)

Good Hike - It was the first time we did snowshoe hiking, and it was a great time. The scenery was beautiful and Patricia, our guide, was knowledgeable and very helpful. Definitely should try.

Snowy snowshoeing day! - Patricia was our guide; instructions were clear where to meet; the ride on the Metro to the snowshoeing trail was comfortable and convenient and it was a small tour of eight people. Patricia was knowledgeable about the area and would share information with the group along the trail. She also was well prepared and had a variety of hot teas to enjoy when we were finishing up our hike. The hike itself was enjoyable- wish it was a bit longer as there was such a calm and peaceful feeling being in the forest. Would highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland - Me and my partner had a great time on the guided snow shoe hike around Oslo. The scenery was stunning and it was a fun experience. The guides Mustapha and Tommy were really friendly and very kind in letting us practice speaking norwegian with them as we're learning the language, despite us being on the english speaking tour. Would definitely recommend this wonderful way to see some of the beautiful nature Norway has to offer.

A must do! - Highly recommend!!! Despite the frigid temperatures you are on the move, so you do not freeze, although you need to be serious about your winter clothing 😬
It’s nice to get on the train with the locals who are carrying their sleds/skis/snowboards to go to the top and go through the beautiful forest. Miles our guide was kind gracious ( I was unable to find the group and thankfully he called me and we were able to connect!!) and he was very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions. Definitely a must do while in Oslo!!

Snow Shoeing in the forest - Great to experience snow shoeing for the first time and see how the locals hang out on their cross country skis. Antoine was a great guide and shared his knowledge of Oslo/Norway, he did a great job!

A must do! - We had a fantastic time on our snow shoe tour - a real trip highlight! Our guide Antione was wonderful, he was so friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable, he made the experience what it was. The hike itself was also magic. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
