• Frognerseteren - With just the soft glow of a headlamp to cut through the darkness, participants will navigate secret trails and whispering trees, fully immersing themselves in the serene, otherworldly beauty of the winter landscape. As the blue hour fades into true night, the forest undergoes a complete transformation.

However, this is no ordinary stroll. Beneath the forest’s calm surface lies a world rich in myth and mystery. With each crunch of snow or rustle of leaves, one might feel the watchful presence of the unknown. Could Huldra, the enchanting spirit of the forest, be lurking just beyond the light’s reach? Perhaps a troll waits in the shadows, or another ancient being that calls this forest home?

Guided by an experienced leader, participants will hear eerie tales of folklore woven into the very essence of this timeless place. The darkness here is vibrant, not empty—a vast stage for the imagination, where every rustle in the underbrush and every distant call hints at the supernatural.

• Frognerseteren - As the journey through the shadowed realm concludes, a warm glow will invite participants forward. A crackling bonfire awaits, a beacon in the night. Here, amidst the flickering flames, they can warm their hands and spirits with steaming Gløgg, Norway’s version of Glüwein, accompanied by traditional snacks. Share stories of the nocturnal adventure and the whispers heard in the woods, as the fire dances and the stars watch overhead.

This tour offers an opportunity to explore the mystical, dark heart of the Oslo Forest for a memorable nighttime adventure. As the blue hour arrives, a magical twilight moment referred to in French as l’heure bleue, the journey commences. This transitional period between day and night, where shadows play and secrets awaken, serves as the ideal entrance to the forest’s concealed wonders. Join in the exploration!

• This tour takes about 3.5 hours including public transportation. Walking distance is about 3 km.
• Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Recommended minimum age for children is 5+ years old.
• Reasonable standard of fitness required. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Please bring gloves for each person in your group.

• On this tour we do not have any toilets available, but we do have plenty of “Facilitrees” in the forest ☺️
