This is a WALKING tour utilizing public transportation, not a bus tour.
The tour lasts APPROXIMATELY 4-5 hours, with a possible variation of about 30 minutes either way.
Our guide will reach out via WhatsApp, so please ensure you have WhatsApp installed before the tour to facilitate a smooth meeting with the guide.
Due to the presence of other groups, late arrivals cannot be accommodated. If you are late, you will not be able to join the tour and no refund will be issued.

100% recommend this tour! - This Osaka walking tour was a fantastic way to see the city in a day! We visited Osaka Castle, explored the lively Dotonbori area, and indulged in amazing food at Kuromon Market. Anime and gaming fans will love Nipponbashi Denden Town. A great mix of history, food, and culture—100% recommended!

One day in Osaka with Yusuke - Starting early is what separates this tour from others. He were able to avoid the crowds and were able to look at all of the places peacefully without much people. Thank you Yusuke for taking us to the most wonderful spots! Truly recommend!

A great walking tour of Osaka with Ryosuke! - This tour was a great way to spend a day seeing the sites and getting steps in.
Our tour guide Ryosuke was fantastic! He was very passionate about imparting his knowledge of Osaka onto us. He also taught my niece a few Japanese words to help her on our trip.
The tour was well paced and took in many of the locate key sites. A great way to spend half a day in Osaka.

Good introduction to Osaka - A great morning exploring the castle grounds and shops of Osaka. Our guide Kanji was knowledgeable, helpful and happy to accommodate the interests of our small group. More than just landmarks, we got some insight into what the city and its people are like - exactly what you want in a walking tour.

History with great photos - Our tour guide Ryosuke was incredible! He took us all around Osaka Castle and gave us a great history lesson with adorable pictures. He had 4 photo spots planned and took the best pictures. He was my biggest hype man. Highly reccomended!

Osaka Top Highlights Tour - Ryosuke was highly personable, enthusiastic and had a great sense of humour. His willingness to share his experience of life in Japan, and keenness to learn about my life and experiences, meant that it felt more like looking around a new city with a friend than a tour.
Ryosuke was knowledgeable about the locations we went and provided some great information that really helped provide context. He knew all the spots that are above and beyond the standard tourist locations.
I would thoroughly recommend Guide Me Japan for your visit to Osaka and hope that you are lucky enough to meet and befriend Ryosuke!

Really Fun Tour With Incredible Guide - This tour was incredible!!! My husband and I were the only people on the tour, which was such a treat. We had the best time learning about Osaka from Ryosuke. Ryosuke was knowledgeable, warm, kind, friendly, and so so funny. We felt like we were hanging out with a new dear friend the entire tour. On the tour, Ryosuke will teach you the history of Osaka and Osaka Castle, take you to various bustling parts of Osaka, treat you to a delicious lunch, and make great recommendations for local shops for souvenirs like chopsticks and lanterns. Ryosuke also candidly answered all of our questions about what modern day life in Japan is like. He is an excellent teacher. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. Highly recommend!

Wonderful introduction to Osaka Castle - Ryosuke gave us an amazing introduction to Osaka Castle and its history.
His knowledge of early 17th century shogunates and his simplified explanation of the castle’s timeline was most informative.
I strongly recommend parents with children to consider taking the tour. Ryosuke used images and nicknames for the samurai such as ‘big ear’ and ‘monkey’ which would capture interest from children.
