Best tour - The Kyoto Early Bird Tour in Uji and Fushimi Inari was absolutely fantastic. Beginning the morning in Uji with a peaceful riverside walk and tasting some of the finest green tea set the perfect tone for the day. Our guide explained the history of Uji and its role in Japanese tea culture in such an engaging way that we really felt connected to the place.

Really fulfilling tour in Kyoto - An unforgettable day in Uji! The transport was quick and convenient, and our guide, Genki introduced us to both the magnificent Byodo-in and the charming Ujigami Shrine. The peaceful riverside setting made it even more special.

Very nice tour with a great guide - We got up very early, but it was all worth it. Arisa was waiting for us at Kyōto station. Since she contacted us in advance by WhatsApp it was easy to find one another. Arisa is a charming guide with very good knowledge about the places we went to and Japan culture in general. It was a pleasure spending time with her. We met as guide and customers and at the end it felt like being together as friends! ありがとうございます

- If you only have limited time in Kyoto, this tour is for you! As I love matcha, I always wanted to visit Uji. I had authentic Uji matcha and learned rich history in Kyoto. The guide was super friendly and had matcha together!

Definitely recommend!! - This tour of Uji was such a memorable experience!
Instead of staying in the usual tourist spots around Kyoto, we got to explore a quieter, more scenic side of the region. The riverside views, historic temples, and peaceful atmosphere were a perfect break from the crowds. Our guide, who grew up in Uji, had so many cool stories and recommendations—especially for matcha lovers! We stopped by a few lesser-known cafes and shops that served unbelievably good matcha treats. If you’re looking for something a bit more local and relaxed, this tour is the perfect choice.

Amazing tour!! - Every spot we visited was absolutely beautiful, and I learned so much about Japanese culture and all the amazing things Japan has to offer! It was also great that it wasn’t crowded like the city centre, so we could really enjoy it comfortably.
But honestly, none of this would’ve been possible without our incredible guide, Soichiro. He was super friendly, shared loads of interesting knowledge, and made this one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. It’s easily one of the most memorable highlights of my entire trip to Japan 😊
It was a hot day, so just make sure to stay hydrated!

The best tour i've ever had!! - First of all,Our tour guide Soichiro was such an amazing guide—super friendly, kind, and really knows his stuff. He made the whole tour feel personal and meaningful. I learned so much about the history and culture behind each place, way beyond just the surface-level stuff.
Waking up early was 100% worth it. The spots were peaceful, beautiful, and Soichiro’s explanations gave them so much depth. I’m really glad I joined—this tour gave me a whole new appreciation for Kyoto.

Excellent Fushimi Inari and Uji tour with a wonderful guide! - This tour was the perfect for us Walking through Fushimi Inari’s torii gates before the area gets all crowded. Our guide was amazing, knowledgable, friendly, and even gave us reccomendation for rest of our trip in Japan!! Small group, peaceful vibe, unforgettable experience. I highly recommend you this tour!!

HIGHLIGHT OF THE TOUR - This Uji tour was amazing!!!
It was nice to get out of inner Kyoto city and see all the amazing sites outside of the city. Our guide for this tour was a Uji local and shared with us a bunch of exciting things that I definitely would’ve never known. He even suggested hidden gem stores that sell BEST Matcha in the city. I highly recommend this tour and a visit to the city of Uji!
