People places and history. - Tour was full of history and fun facts about the city and the culture. It was cold and we were on the move the entire time. Be ready to walk.

Amazing insights on backstreet Osaka tour - The Backstreet Osaka tour was an amazing experience! Great guide, many insights into Japanese everyday life, habits and behaviour - from streetfood to amusement, love hotels, gambling and more! We can highly recommend it!

Great tour - We had a great tour with Micheal. He told us fun stories and answered our questions about Japanese culture that we would not find in a tourist book or be comfortable going to without a guide.

If you like to know Osaka's history please do this tour - Guide was very knowledgeable. Keep all of us safe. Was able to answer all questions. Tour was totally worth it 10/10.

Osaka by night - This was a unique experience led by a colorful and informative guide (Barry-we think!) we visited parts of Osaka that are not often listed in the guidebooks-down narrow alleyways and through various shopping districts. Along the way we sampled authentic Osakan street food and learned about the history of some of the marginalized communities, and how they make their lives work in difficult situations. We ended the evening at a great restaurant and filled up on all sorts of delicious food and good beer. Even though we walked through neighborhoods that some might consider sketchy, we never felt unsafe.

Interesting back streets! - Super informative and cool to see parts of the city that I would DEFINITELY not have gone to by myself. Enjoyed the walk and made for a more well rounded experience in Osaka.

A great tour that offers an insight into Osaka’s underbelly: led with great passion by a very cool old Derry Rocker! - The tour took us to places we would have never visited on our own and we heard ‘inside’ stories that we would have never heard. Andy was our tour guide and he led us with great passion, adventure and knowledge. I also enjoyed his sense of love and genuine compassion for Japan and all of its people.

Food tour and Back alleys wrapped in one. Don't drink too much forget-your-night-juice because you want to remember this! :) - Our tour guide Michael was a really fun guy with a lot of insight into Osaka's nightlife while still treating the people living and working there as people instead of a zoo which I felt was really great.
I found the group a bit big for my taste but no one got lost and I for my part got to hear and ask about everything I wanted to know.
The food was great and there was plenty but Japan is and probably stays troublesome if you are vegan or vegetarian or struggle with gluten. Though Michael did arrange for food allergies and our pescetarians as best he could.

Guide Great, Tour itself Meh - The guide was great, I really enjoyed his insight and he was very funny. The tour itself was interesting, but is not worth the price particularly when free walking tours are doing pretty much the same thing. Also, the dinner is not worth 15 extra dollars. You get 2 chicken wings, miso, rice, 2 small pieces of tempura and a tiny slice of omelette. If I forgot something, it’s because it was that unforgettable. (drink is extra)
