Best market tour ever! - The description undersells just how good this tour is. Anna is full of energy, humour and knowledge about food. She knows the market and sellers like close family. There were so many amazing things to try. You won’t leave this tour hungry. Best market tour Ive ever done.

Great guide - Fun tour, great guide. Very knowledgeable about Japanese customs, culture and language from a visitors point of view. Took us to spots we would have never found or tried on our own.

Calling all foodies - This was a tour no foodie should miss while they are in Osaka. Our guide, Anna, was wonderful - she happily answered everyone's questions or sourced the answers she did not know off the top of her head from the vendors themselves. She was upbeat and kind, and took special care to pick out staple foods for us to try that we might not try on our own (which is the best part of food tours!). We learned a bit about the history of the food we tried, how to identify proper Kobe beef vendors, and different cuts for tuna nigiri. She even took us to a stall that supplies the seafood for Michelin star restaurants! Overall, an awesome experience to have while visiting "Japan's Kitchen."

Hikaru was an amazing guide for a great tour! - Fantastic tour! Hikaru was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and patient. He even added on a couple of additional food samples based on our interests. The market was amazing but having a guide like Hikaru to help you know what is authentic versus touristy was all the difference. Highly recommend!!

Great afternoon - would definitely recommend - Great food tour! Really lovely variety of different seafood in the market and the perfect amount of food. Our guide Hikaru was so friendly and answered any questions we had. He was very adaptable and made sure any requests were met. Would definitely recommend!

Not to miss in Osaka! - Really interestig tour around the Kurumon market. Hikaru clearly knew his stuff and had a real passion for Japanese food and culture. The food was all delicious!

Foodies' delight - Bring your foodie sense of adventure. Mike gave us a fantastic tour of Kuromon. Lots of tips and insights into the market, Japanese food and Osaka/Japan in general. The tour provides the opportunity to taste a variety of foods - all were delicious. Great value for money. Loved the opportunity to try foods that I probably wouldn't have ordered.
Would absolutely recommend if you want an introduction to traditional Osaka & Japanese food.

Wonderful Kuromon Market experience - Mike conducted us on a very enjoyable afternoon tour of the Kuromon Market. His commentary and insights were interesting and informative. We really appreciated the opportunities provided for tasting much of the wonderful cuisine available at various market stalls. Thanks Mike for the great experience and we would highly recommend this tour to others.

Fun fresh foods - The tour company somehow attracted a brilliant group of folks. The same had happened on a previous, night backstreet tour, which I would also recommend. The tour guide Adam was great fun and well spoken in English and Japanese. He gets you trying foods that you otherwise might not!
It’s not too long distance wise and flat n easy on the feet. You can fit this tour in, with other things on a busy day in Osaka
The food was fresh and fabulous. Just as we had hoped.
I would really recommend this tour over others and congratulate management for an excellent product.

Book This Tour - My family and I had a wonderful time on the Kuromon Market tour with Anna. The food was fabulous and the seafood was so fresh! We were very impressed with the high quality of food we sampled and we were very full by the end. Even our picky teenage son enjoyed the food. Anna had a great personality which took the tour up another notch! She was a wealth of knowledge and provided many insights we were unaware of before the tour. Overall, the experience was excellent and we 100% recommend this tour.
