Additional Information

Manoa Valley, a residential neighborhood near Waikiki and Ala Moana, is renowned for its abundant daily rainfall. This results in rainbows being a usual spectacle. The valley and its neighboring mountains are brimming with hiking trails, with Manoa Falls being the most frequently visited.

The excursion includes roundtrip shuttle service from your hotel in Waikiki, lasting roughly four hours, inclusive of pickup and drop-off. The hike commences over a large bridge meant for pedestrians, descending on a small brook through a cluster of Eucalyptus trees. The trail, spanning 0.8 miles, gradually elevates through a verdant rainforest and culminates at a viewing point distanced from the waterfall base. It’s an irresistible attraction!

Nana goes hiking - I brought my grandkids to Hawaii and we took this hike and being 70-year-old. It was a little tough on me but they had a fabulous time and I would take any of them back anytime. If you’re older, be sure you get a walking stick.

Rain Forest! - A quick trip up from Honolulu and we were in a TROPICAL RAIN FOREST!!!! Great trail, incredible beauty, great value using the Go City Pass for Oahu…highly recommend. Pack some good hiking shoes as it will make the hike back down much more enjoyable. You can make it in everyday shoes, but just not as stable!

Great experience - Our driver “D” was great. On the way to Moana Falls he showed us the famous hospital that Obama was born and his high school as well as where the Rock’s elementary school. He was extremely informative. I highly recommend this tour and the experience was terrific. Thanks D

Beautiful scenery, moderately challenging hike, go early - Our guide, Steven, was funny and engaging, and able to answer a variety of questions. He was helpful in accommodating special physical needs The trail is rocky, and challenging later in the day when it's hot, so I'd definitely recommend going as early in the morning as possible. Take advantage of the bug spray and walking sticks provided. I sweated so much going at 11:00 that the bug spray wore off and the mosquitoes got me. Due to a foot injury, I was only able to complete 1/2 the trail, and it was challenging, but the scenery is fantastic before it gets difficult --reminds us of the forest in Avatar --stunning!!! Breathtaking!!! My family went on to the waterfall, which was a little underwhelming with well-marked signs not to swim due to bacteria Definitely easier with the shuttle than trying to find parking on your own You need an appointment to access the visitors center. They had walk in availability at the time we went, but no guarantees.
