• Cawdor Castle - Departing from Invergordon, the journey begins with a visit to Cawdor Castle. Nestled amidst stunning gardens in Nairnshire, Cawdor Castle is the historic home of the Campbells, dating back to the 15th Century. Visitors can enjoy exploring the castle and its charming surroundings.
• Inverness Castle - After leaving Nairnshire, the tour continues to Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands. With over an hour to spend here, there’s ample time to enjoy lunch, stroll along the River Ness, and perhaps capture some great views of Inverness Castle.
• Loch Ness - From Inverness, the Invergordon shore excursion proceeds to Loch Ness for a brief photo and refreshment stop, offering a chance for a quick Nessie Hunt!
• Beauly - The next destination is Beauly, a quaint Highland town located on the picturesque River Beauly. The name Beauly is derived from the French “beau lieu,” meaning “beautiful place,” a name believed to have originated from a remark by Mary Queen of Scots during her visit in 1564. This stop allows for photo opportunities before heading to the final destination of the day: Glen Ord Distillery.
• The Singleton Distillery - Glen Ord is the sole remaining single malt whisky distillery on the Black Isle and is the home of Singleton Whisky. The tour concludes with a visit to the distillery, where guests can enjoy a tasting of the Singleton of Glen Ord 12-year-old whisky, rounding off the Invergordon Shore Excursion.
