Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye - The tour was excellent and Scot our guide was remarkable with an amazing knowledge of Scottish history. My only negative comment is that as the only solo participant, and as I was picked up in Glasgow so the Edinburgh people were already on the bus, and as the B&B that I was assigned was first drop off and therefore last pick up each morning, by the time I boarded the bus I had no choice of seats. Couples were sitting in single seats and no one was prepared to swap. On a recent trip this was avoided as it was part of the policy of the tour operator that people should move seats each day.

Saw a ton, learned a lot, and somebody else did the driving. ;) - This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Neil, was funny, informative, and did a wonderful job showing us Scotland. We would go again!

Scott, our tour guide was... - Scott, our tour guide was amazing and made this trip with my 3 kids a memorable one! He was very knowledgeable about both Scottish history and pop culture which we enjoyed. The tour felt complete, engaging, and well-rounded. We also stopped at all the places we were hoping to, including petting and feeding some highland cows!

Soooo good!!! - Our host and driver, Connor, was AMAZING. Excellent tour guide and jokester, very entertaining and knowledgeable about all things Scottish in general, and Skye in particular. Arranged a 5-star B&B with the included lodging arrangement. Very patient with late guests and accidental iced tea spillage 😬. Can’t recommend high enough. So nice to meet you, Connor and hope I spelled your name right. Happy travels ❤️. Deborah & Erdem

Absolutely Worth It – Stunning and Memorable - Just got back from a 3-day tour to the Isle of Skye and I’m still in awe. Every stop along the way was breathtaking. But what made this experience unforgettable wasn’t just the landscape—it was our incredible tour guide and driver, Scott from Scotland!!! Scott brought the tour to life with his warmth, humour, and deep knowledge of Scotland. He had a genuine passion for the places we visited and shared just the right amount of history and local stories at the perfect moments. Scott was very wholesome and thoughtful throughout the whole journey. I was told a guide can make or break a trip, and Scott absolutely made it. His energy, kindness, and ability to read the group created the perfect atmosphere for the whole experience. This tour exceeded all expectations!

Overall, good experience, great guide - We regularly plan all of our own vacations but they’ve always been in North America. In Scotland we wanted to see a lot but were worried about how we’d get to each place so we decided to take our first bus tour. Alan, our guide with Timberbush Tours, was funny, knowledgeable, and personable. The Isle of Skye and the Highlands were amazing, no regrets seeing them. While for our first visit, the bus tour probably made sense due to our time constraints, we’re not sure if we’d do it again. On the bus you see so many cool things but you also pass a lot and often cannot stay at an attraction as long as you’d like. If you have the time and resources to rent a car, you’ll see so much more and be able to stay as long as you wish. If you’re short on time, not good at researching places to visit and stay, or don’t care about time limits, the bus may be for you. Overall it was a good experience for us. Check the itinerary with the actual bus company before you book with Viator to ensure they match. We thought we were doing a couple of things we didn’t do.

Would not use Timberbush ever again - The Isle of Skye is a delight, Timberbush is a no. They are not honest concerning refund policy or accommodations. Once you’re on the little bus and the trip has started anything they have agreed to is off.
