Great birthday present for our dad - We did the culinary tour and not for the first time. Every time a very special experience! If you can take a tour with Gerd! He's absolutely insane. The next tour in the Hacker tent to the Wiesn is already booked ;-)

Well organized and interesting guided tour of Haidhausen with a spirited Bavarian guide. - Schmankerl tour through Haidhausen: the tour was very interesting, the stations well selected and - although I am Munich - I saw and heard a lot of new things (and tried them). There were Italian tasting bites, an organic liver cheese, organic bread with butter and cream cheese, quiche, a scoop of ice cream and an espresso. In the end, we were really fed up.

Gourmet + Historical tour in a pleasant atmosphere - Funny, delicious, intellectual round in Haidhausen. We got to know a lot of interesting things about Haidhausen. The historical connections of squares and buildings were really good. The gastronomy was very good and super friendly. The guide has brought us extremely professional and very sympathetic everywhere. He took care of everything. Top! Thank you

Recommended tour - The tour was balanced and well organized. Elke told a lot of interesting facts and answered additional questions competently. Only 4 out of 5* as the amount of liver cheese in the bread was very manageable / low.

Great city tour with average Gastromie - We had the event: Walk to dinner for birthday. The city tour itself was very interesting. The guide Katharina explained it super funny and lively and responded to our group. Unfortunately, we were not very happy with the choice of gastronomy: The first stop should be the Bavarian Courtyard on the roof terrace, which unfortunately did not work. It was then the Spritz-Bar in the Schrannenhalle which was also ok. The second stop was the restaurant Mavi, very nice ambience but the food disappointed us very much. For 140€ per person we would have expected more. We had the choice between vegetarian and chicken, which I found very little. In our group, over half of the main course with half a plate went back, it was a very simple dish, not what would have expected for the price. In addition, one person has a pepper allergy, now choosing vegetable carpaccio or chicken with pepper sauce was not so ideal. I already passed the note on to the organizer when booking 1 year before. The person got the chicken with side dish potatoes without sauce which was a very dry story. From a restaurant like this, I can expect them to be able to improvise and possibly make another sauce. The third stop was a bar. We were sitting outside and since it was very fresh, we were frozen very quickly. We wouldn't have gotten seats in the bar and it would have been too loud to talk. The drinks with lots of ice and very loveless. Gin and tonic without cucumber or lemon. Munich has so much to offer from the gastronomy and for the price of 140€ per person you can expect better. What a shame!
