Moving trip to Dachau - This was a very moving and information full tour. Tom was an excellent guide who provided history and context to what we saw at the Dachau memorial. Tom also did a great job of ensuring we safely got to Dachau and back to Munich. I highly recommend this tour and Tom for your guide.

Educational - Learning about one of the darkest moments in history was so intriguing!! Learning Dachau was the first camp for Hitler’s political rivals and that every other concentration camp was modeled after it was not something I remember learning in history class in the US. Definitely worth a visit!

Hard to learn about, but a history everyone should know. - While it was very painful to learn about and to see photographs of how the people suffered and what they endured, it is an essential part of history that everyone should be aware of.

Highly recommend this tour. Try to get Jake as a tour guide! - In late June, my friend and I went on this tour with Jake as our tour guide. He was amazing and really made the trip memorable. It's a heavy day but it's so important to remember the Nazi atrocities and to learn about what happened in one of the camp locations. Jake was super knowledgeable. He added appropriate humor when needed during some of the heavier moments of the day. Jake's family was Jewish so he shared how the war and the camps impacted them. It was a tough day but I'm so glad I went on this tour. The only suggestion I would make is that we be given more free time to go back to the museum and gift shop. We were given some free time but it wasn't enough. I also wish there were an easier way to travel from Munich to Dachau. The train and bus were crowded and not pleasant!

A Reminder of Hitler’s Cruelty. - This was a sobering but interesting tour. Our guide, Mark Pearson was informative but personable while providing insight into the horrible atrocities that happened here. I would recommend him and his company for such an excursion.

Poignant and Educational Tour - The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site tour was a poignant and educational experience. It provided invaluable insight into a dark chapter of history while emphasizing the importance of remembrance and ensuring that the lessons learned are never forgotten. Our tour guide, Mark (German Mark) approach ensured that the tour remained respectful to the memory of the victims, fostering an atmosphere of reflection and remembrance among the visitors I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a profound understanding of World War II history and the human experience during that era. It's a sombre yet necessary exploration that leaves an indelible mark on one's conscience and understanding of the past.

Pay very close attention to the guide - Our tour guide didn’t make a clear announcement when it was time to disembark the train so we missed the stop, and had to get off at the next station and find our way back to the city. We got a full refund but it was still disappointing to not get better care from our guide. And we didn’t see Dachau.
