Spectacular - I had never done a tour using rail before but the area is so remote there are not a lot of options if you are not driving. Amazing. Well organised. Lots of options. It is a long day but we’ll worth it

Amazing tour and tour guide - The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Stephanie was very knowledgeable about the history of Bavaria and she did a great job leading the tour and helping each person have a good time.

We had a day trip from... - We had a day trip from Munich to Chiemsee by train and back. Our guide, Maxine, was excellent. She was very organized, informative, friendly and experienced. Her pleasant personality added to our trip. Also our relatively small tour group of eight got along well which added to an enjoyable experience.

Look no further for your guide, take Stephanie - Thank you Stephanie for a pleasant day! Friendly, smiling, you guided our group with a zen attitude and remained sympathetic towards us 2, French, speaking neither German nor English! We didn't miss anything thanks to your simultaneous translation! Thank you again, nice continuation! Françoise (le mans-France)

Beautiful experience - Enriching experience, Stephanie accompanied us throughout the day, with little care.
I will keep a memory for a long time
Louis II and his castles.
Thank you a lot, dear Stephanie.

A wonderful day trip - Although visiting the palace is definitely the highlight of this excursion, the entire experience is enjoyable. We took the regular train, an old -fashioned small train, a ferry boat and a horse carriage to get to the palace.
The palace itself is gorgeous and in Rococo style, and it has an interesting historical background. The museum (which is included in the ticket price) is really worth seeing even if one doesn’t know any German.
I wouldn’t have done this without this tour company and our excellent tour guide Stephanie. She was kind, thoughtful and friendly and worked hard to accommodate everyone’s needs.
Our lunch was on a neighboring island and it was delicious. We saw a beautiful 800 year old church near the restaurant and enjoyed eating ice cream and buying souvenirs.
All in all, it was a wonderful day trip and I am glad that I decided to go.

Glorious Herrenchimsee & Frau island tour - Jeremy was wonderful for the tour. He gave us an overview of the Herrenchiemsee castle and navigated us through train and boat. Plus he arranged a Taxi due to Steam train not operable. Beautiful sceneries and gave us wonderful recommendations as well.

Hidden gem - Conny was an excellent guide with intrinsic knowledge of the area, including all of the local folklore about the palace and Ludwig II. If you have mobility issues, round trip horse wagon transport is available and well worth the small cost. The museum portion of the palace has folding chairs available at its exit that you may borrow to use on the tour.
