Waterfall and Moshi: online with Maro!!!! - We first visited the waterfalls in Materuni with Maro. He guided us safely and told us stories with a great sense of humor. It was a fantastic experience for us. In the afternoon, Maro showed us Moshi. The train station and the market were fantastic. Maro made us feel safe the whole time. A lovely dinner together rounded off a fantastic day. When I had a problem with my bank card, Maro calmed me down and assured me everything would be fine. He was right. We were lucky to have Maro by our side. It was a perfect day, thanks to Maro. We recommend him without reservation. Thank you, Maro!

Beautiful experience - We hiked to the casca DE before going up to the cafe for lunch EN front of Kilimanjaro. EN fin DE meals, we were given DE explanations about coffee growing and the DE harvesting and preparation processes.
After that we were able to participate EN group in the preparation of coffee for the end of the meal. It is made EN song and everyone could participate because it is not very physical. It was both interesting and original, and the coffee obtained was good, and not too intense despite the presence DE more or less roasted beans
We were accompanied by Christmas, our guide, which was very good. We speak little and like to photograph plants and birds. Noël was able to give us information and answer our questions, while showing himself pati ENt when we hung out to take our photos, and walked by scanning the trees and the sky to find us chameleons and birds. We had a good day EN his company

Amazing hike, delicious food and great demonstration - During this experience, we had an absolute blast. We started off in Materuni Village where we registered ourselves and got given some much needed boots (we truly recommend you take them) We then met our guide; William. We hiked for one hour and a half to arrive to a beautiful waterfall - the road was very muddy despite the dry season but our guide went slowly and we all made it without falling. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful! Then we walked back to a small local coffee plantation where we were given a delicious meal of banana soup and beef sauce with rice. After, we enjoyed a coffee making demonstration where the staff showed us each of the steps and lots of singing and hands-on experience was involved. Overall the staff was super friendly and the coffee we made was delicious (you even have the opportunity to buy some to bring home if you wish). Throughout the hike William gave us a lot of explanation about the plants. We had a such a fun time and we highly recommend this day trip (just be ready to get a bit messy).

Geweldige ervaring! - We were given a tour by Mercy; she's a truly excellent guide. She knows so many people because she's from the area herself. You can ask her anything; she knows so much about the area and the people.

Not to miss!! Unforgettable ..must do ! Sylvester rocks! - Sylvester made this an unforgettable experience. I will remeber this experience for life. The trek to the waterfall was serene and challenging and Sylvester made sure we were all comfortable. His manners was exceptional along with his positivity. After the hike, we were invited for a home made lunch which included so much food. We were vegetarian and they catered to us so well. It was real farm to table. The coffee experience is unforgettable. We learned the history of coffee as well as Tanzania. The coffee farm is free from any bugs or mosquitos so you don’t have to worry. From bean to coffee in a cup, I will never look at coffee the same way because of Sylvester and his friends who sang and dance throughout the whole coffee making experience !

super guide, sylvester! - Our experienced guide named Sylvester is a really interesting, educated, thoughtful conversationalist, a native of Materuni from the Chagga tribe. He told us about the history of coffee cultivation in the Kilimanjaro region in an open and uncomplicated, witty way.
Nowhere does coffee taste better than home-roasted and toasted on the terrace in the beautiful garden at the foot of the lonely white mountain. After a tour of the village, we were allowed to try the legendary and notorious banana beer.
After a pleasant night and a good breakfast, we walked to the 150m high waterfall with melt water from the glaciers of Kili. A cool dip in the force of nature is possible. We spent the afternoon in the public swimming pool called "Hot springs" with a liana swing and crystal clear water. Many thanks for this wonderful, eventful and enjoyable experience!
