Wonderful experience! - Saidi was an amazing guide today! Very intelligent and personalable, and passionate about sharing interesting information and connecting with us! He taught me a lot of Swahili and we also spoke in a few languages as he is well versed in English and also many other languages, especially good at Spanish, too which we communicated in a lot The hike is slippery and he helped us often and was patient, and he taught us so much about making the coffee which is not only excellent but was also so fun to make, and to hear the beautiful singing. The lunch was very tasty local food. Everyone is smiling and friendly. Highly recommend!

Materuni Falls with William! - Will.I.Am So today we walked to the Materuni Falls as a family with an 8 year old. It was raining but we were provided rain boots. Our guide William was absolutely great! He gave us information about the trees and vegitation along the hike. He helped our son when needed, and took care of our gear. Afterwards he told us all about coffee making. Also, he’s a good photographer. Now we have soms photos for the rest of our lives. If you’re planning this hike, please ask for William a.k.a. Coffeeman.

Beautiful views, beautiful coffee - Views are amazing and the people are fantastic. It is a short up and down hike to the falls, then up to the village where you’ll get to process your own coffee the traditional way of pounding the beans and cooking over a fire.
