Great evening! - Mindelo is an incredible city, but it’s not easy to find the best food, music, and bars by yourself. This tour was a great way to get acquainted with all Mindelo has to offer, especially if you’re like me and don’t have a ton of time to spend there. I highly recommend!

Definitely do - Very good experience. I was the only entrant for 2 days in a row, but Marion rewarded my determination with a private tour.
You do this best at the beginning of your stay, because from then on you really know how to fill in the days after.
Use of a private pool, secret restaurant, music bars, the next days are suddenly easier.
Highly recommended.

Top introduction to the local music scene - Marion showed us very competently the music scene in the city center. Because I wanted to stay in Mindelo for almost a week, the tour was very worthwhile. I knew about the places where I could find live music every day, even where the food was good. Marion also performs all concerts on her website, this service is top. And at the end of the tour we enjoyed a lively dance round in front of one of the bars, of course to strong music from some local talents.

Mindelo by Night - Our guide Marion took us with her colleague Adila through the nightly and lively Mindelo. We have moved from restaurant to restaurant and we have always received exciting as well as valuable tips on how to throw ourselves into "pleasure" to enjoy Mindelo by Night on our own. Of course always with small musical treats of the respective restaurants.
When visiting the last restaurant we were allowed to choose a drink and experience the ambiance even more extensively. Great tour, thanks.

Music is the essence of Cape Verde - I was in Cape Verde for the first time...and I am completely enthusiastic about the country and people. I could write books about my 10 days in "other Africa." Mindelo was like a little Havana to me. Of course, the Mindelo by Night city tour was 90% about the insanely good musicians of the country. The other 10% were stories and experiences of insider Marion. Unfortunately, I only went through the tour at the end of my trip. I think more at the beginning you would get a better entry and also better recognize other treasures of the country. The old town of Mindelo is a very colorful place where rich and poor people live close together in peace. Especially some millionaire yachts in the harbour stand in stark contrast to the partially derelict houses. I also know other countries in Africa...here Africa is quite European/International. Almost everywhere you can pay with Euro cash and get the change back in local currency. Marion can also answer many general questions to participants if the group is smaller. I certainly haven't been to Mindelo the last time.

Super nice evening and many not yet known restaurants and bars found! - We had a very pleasant evening. Marion is a nice lady who tells plenty of stories about the city, the musicians, bars and restaurants. We had been here for a few days but struggled to find nice bars. Marion managed to lead us to hidden gems that we would never have found without her! Very nice and cozy! Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Marion knows a lot about Cape Verdean culture. - Just wow and super super great. Marion just knows every bar, restaurant and so many musicians: inside, just great. Thanks Marion, that was one of my highlights !!!

City tour excitingly different - Taking a tour of the city at night is a whole new experience and you get to know the city in a completely different way. Mindelo is super lively and we were able to listen to a lot of great and talented artists in a variety of bars. The mood is amazing. Super nice and competent guide who has plenty of local insider tips to offer.
