Unique Tour - I had the best experience on the walking tour with Mindelo Cultural, it was perfectly structured and the guide was well informed. I saw all the important places in Mindelo and got to listen to traditional Cape Verdean Music, which was the highlight for me. This made the tour unique for me. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with a love for culture!

the diversity of Mindelo - An absolute recommendation! The tour was super exciting. You get to know a lot of local spots that you would never have found otherwise. Mindelo is a super diverse city and the guide brings the Morabeza of the people super across. You get a lot of background knowledge and interesting information about all the attractions. Good footwear I can recommend, because such a detailed tour takes time. The food was also highly recommended!

Great for foodies - Excellent tour. Your guide, Mairion, loves Cape Verde and it shows. We walked all over, she showed us little know areas that were beautiful. It said a snack would be provided but it was a full meal as well as music from local musicians. Would be a great tour for foodies. Lots of hills walking tho, so be prepared.

Experience the culture of Mindelo like a local - What a wonderful tour to learn about the culture of Mindelo! Marion was an excellent guide who showed us so many things and answered all questions our group had. The music and food was in a small local shop run by a lovely family and one could not have found it on your own! The food was all traditional Caverde food and there was a lot of it! The guys who played the music were so talented (they did traditional songs and an original of theirs) We also went to a “secret spot” with a beautiful view over the city. Finally, she gave us a ton of recommendations to hear music for later in the night or places for more traditional local dinners. Marion loves what she does and wants visitors to appreciate and experience the culture of the island. We are so glad we booked this tour!

Music, culture and food of Mindelo! - Inspired by the music, the places the guide showed me and the great stories! This is why I wanted to go to Mindelo. Highlight of the tour was the private music lesson with a local artist about the 6 different rhythms of Cabo Verde. This musical session was in a beautiful local shop runned by a lovely family. A place you normally can’t find as a tourist. The food was great! The guide also took me to a place with a beautiful view over the city. Also a lot of useful recommandations for music bars. The guide exactly knows where to go in case you want a more touristic experience, but especially when you want to go to places where local people go to the guide can recommend you where to go (even multiple options in case a bar is closed). The passion of the guide to let you experience the real music en culture of Mindelo is great! Really glad I booked the tour.

Highlight of my stay in Capo Verde! - The Mindelo Cultural Tour was an amazing experience !
The guides were very friendly and told us a lot about the history of Capo Verde and gave us an inside view of the social, economical and cultural aspects defining the life in Mindelo.
Through the dancing and life band experience, I had the surprising chance to realise that there is a lot of variety in the capverdian music styles. I would definitely recommend this tour because you have the unique opportunity to see a samba dancing performance which usually takes place just once a year for the carneval. The dancer, musicians and guides were so adorable and lovely. Finally, the snacks on the tour were really tasty!
Overall, this has been a highlight of my stay in Capo Verde!
