Great experience - Fantastic insight into the theatre our guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and covered everything from the location of the theatre, use of the original theatre, instruments, art work, and boxes. 4 star experience. Audio was also very good and everyone on our group could see.

A Fascinating History of a Beautiful Theatre - A very thorough history of the Theatre, the architectural as well as the family history. The musical instruments and the characters of the performers were intriguing.

Could have been better … - Museum tour was good. Visiting the boxes to overlook the auditorium less so. Two people not in our party were in the box & were reluctant to allow us a view. This needed organising better …

Not perfect - Very interesting tour. Worth the price. Our group only had seven people. There was a rehearsal going on at the time and you could see the audio and light control stations as well as stage props being arranged, that alone was worth the admission. The earphone experience was a little clumsy, there was a lot of audio bleed in the guide’s microphone, that often made it difficult to hear and confusing at times. The guide was not very personable or engaging but it was okay.

DO NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE - Beware You book online on the theater's website to ensure you don't have any surprises, and I booked the same morning for a visit at noon. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a rehearsal, so we could not visit; no refunds, but we can come back tomorrow if we want, except I was taking a flight that same evening.

Not a Private Tour - THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE TOUR. Very disappointing. Got to view the theater from a box for a short time. Spent 30 minutes standing in front of a model of the theater and then saw some instruments. Don’t waste your time & money.
