Real Mexico City Street Food Experience! - Our family was looking for an authentic Mexico City, eating and drinking experience, and we found it with this tour! Our knowledgeable and lively guide, Tonalli, took us to some great taco shops and a cantina that we would not have ventured into on our own. We capped the night off with an excellent introduction to artisanal Mezcal! Highly recommended!

Great intro to Mexico City - Fernando was a great guide. A fun up-and-coming neighborhood to tour, amazing tacos of many varieties but with a focus on the local specialty of al pastor, lots of cultural background and information, all the way to restaurants' different business models! I also had some temporary issues with cash and without going into detail, Fernando went above and beyond. Makes me want to do another tour from the same company next time. The only thing I would note is that the starting point in Navarte is on a traffic circle (glorieta) that is the traditional style free-for-all of cars and pedestrians. Up till then I had mostly been in more central neighborhoods whose streets tend to be built up with more protections and signals, so navigating this glorieta as a pedestrian was a little daunting for me. Not something bad, crossing with a group makes it extra-safe if you're not used to it, just something to be mentally ready for.

great food, learning about Mexican culture - Nico was a great tour guide - so informative and clearly passionate about his work. We loved all the food but especially loved all the little anecdotes and experiencing the true culture of Mexico. Felt very Anthony Bourdain, Parts Unknown vibes.

Interesting and delicious - a holiday highlight! - An excellent evening with Tonalli and a holiday highlight. She is so knowledgeable and we learned so much. We visited taquerías, a cantina and a restaurante and enjoyed the most delicious food and drink. Can't praise her or the tour enough - she even organised our taxi home when I had problems with my phone. Do this tour!
