- This tour is all the reasons food tours are great! Clara, our guide, was kind, knowledgeable, interested in showing us things we wanted to see and genuinely excited about the food and culture. The food we ate was plentiful and tasty. Walking around Mexico City with a local is a great way to learn. I 100% recommend this tour!

Can’t wait to go back. - The AMAZING and diverse tacos were only topped by Adrian’s knowledge of CDMX culture and history, culinary and otherwise. We left much smarter and with very full/happy stomachs. Highly recommend requesting Adrian!

We learned so much about the street food culture, ate delicious food, and explored new neighborhoods. I would highly recommend Eat Mexico and will look into a different tour next time I am in CDMX. More Than Just Food – A Meaningful Food Experience with Toti" - Our group of 6 had such a great experience on our food tour with Toti. Not only did we get to try a wide range of local foods—tacos al pastor, barbacoa, fresh tortillas (and other local specialties)—but Toti also gave us context that made everything even more meaningful. She shared the history behind the dishes, explained how ingredients and cooking styles evolved over time, and connected the food to the larger story of the city and Mexico. It really made us appreciate each bite in a different way. Another highlight was visiting a large, local market, where we got to sample more tacos and fresh local fruits. Toti and every chef/vendor was incredibly welcoming. By the end, we were full of incredible food—and even fuller with appreciation for Mexico City’s rich culinary history. Toti made this tour and trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Great tour - Our guide Clara was wonderful. She was friendly and made you feel at home right from the start, and obviously was very passionate and informed about the food she was telling us about. She gave us helpful recommendations and advice about further foods to try, and even general travel advice! I recommend only a light breakfast to have plenty of room, you will be full until dinner time.

Stay safe with street food - We stayed safe and healthy. Only ate cooked food, no unpeeled fruit/veggies, no ice, bottled water. When looking for a place go where there are many people. Avoid places that are empty. Check to see that the person preparing the food isn't handling the money. If they are, are they wearing gloves.
