Great tour and tour guide. - LiLi was our tour guide and was wonderful! Experienced, detailed, very knowledgeable and made it so easy to understand. Our tour experience, was magnified with her as our tour guide. The anthropology museum is very large as is the castle and she organized our tour in a way to see and hear about the high and important points of both properties. We came away much more educated about the rich history of Mexico. Would highly recommend her to make your experience even better.

THIS TOUR IS A MUST! - This tour/experience was world-class. Our guide, Gerson, was so knowledgeable and had a lively and engaging personality. The trip to the National Museum of Anthropology was extraordinary. Honestly, it's impossible to explain just how special this experience was for us. The museum is a massive place, and it was invaluable to have Gerson showing us the highlights of the collection and place them in the context of Mexico's complex and layered history. And, he was also able to provide interesting archeological information, given his background in the field. It was especially interesting to hear him speak about inaccuracies in some of the information presented and what the most current and accurate research findings are. He recommended several books for us if we're interested in learning more about these subjects, and we're eager to start reading! The visit to Chapultepec Castle dealt strictly with the history exhibits and provided a great basic "primer" of the fight for Mexican independence and the key figures involved in this most important chapter of Mexico's past. Do yourself a favor and schedule this tour. You will walk away inspired, enlightened, and interested !

Somewhat helpful guide. - The castle was the highlight for me. Definitely worth visiting and it was nice having a tour guide explain the history to us. The downside of this tour is that lunch time was not built into the schedule. We did the English tour and our tour guide’s English was not the best. Also, the tickets were purchased on site instead of ahead of time, so you don’t really get any time savings. With that said, having a guide still provide value as to the key objects at the museum.
