- The high altitude at the summit area may complicate health conditions and breathing difficulties. Elderly visitors, pregnant women, young children, and those with respiratory or heart conditions should consult their doctor prior to touring. Walk slowly and drink water to avoid dehydration. If you have gone scuba diving, you should wait at least 72 hours before going on this tour.

You won’t regret adding this to your itinerary! - This was phenomenal! Our tour guide arrived within his window and picked us up at our hotel. He gave us some interesting facts about Hawaii and Maui specifically as we made our way up the mountain. When we got there, the view was INCREDIBLE. One of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. My experience with the company was that they were really professional and did exactly what they promised. Highly recommend!

Sunshine on a Rainy Day - We booked our first tour to Haleakala to learn about the historical site. Little did we know our guide, Alfredo, was a walking book of knowledge! He not only navigated the bus, served our lunch & beverages, provided language lessons, and he provided a lot of cultural info about Haleakala & Maui. His witt and smile made a rather gloomy day very enjoyable! The closest thing we saw that was yellow was Alfredo in his yellow safety vest as he did a safety check of the area at the top before we got out of the bus. Unfortunately we did not see the sun or the sunset due to clouds and rain, despite Alfredo singing to the Angels in Heaven to clear up for us!
Next trip we will try again....Mahalo
BTW Alfredo- you ohana is still waiting for the Air drop pix 😉

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day to Haleakala - We took this tour to learn about Haleakala and Alfredo did not disappoint! He is full of knowledge about Haleakala & Maui that he shared readily throughout the day. His personality and humor definitely was the sunshine of the day as our trip to 10,000 ft was rained out! No pictures due to rain clouds.

Preston is so sweet and Hawaii is beautiful - Preston is very informative and considerate! Make sure you dress like if you were going to ski in Colorado. It is very cold up there. Book with Preston if you can he’s very understanding and upbeat. Although if you are traveling with those who don’t speak English it may be difficult for you to appreciate the knowledge.

Poor weather, great service - Sadly we had a cloudy rainy evening with no viewable sunset. Our guide, Alfredo, still made it a lovely evening with stories to keep us entertained, safe driving, food and hot cocoa. Pickup and drop off were intuitive. We would use this group again for future tours.

Alfredo was a great tour guide! - Alfredo was a great tour guide! Funny, charismatic, knowledgeable, and entertaining! Although the weather was pretty bad, Alfredo was there to cheer us on and lift our spirits.

Haleakala Sunset - We had a great experience with Mitchell, who was very friendly and informative throughout the entire drive. The sunset was stunning and he took us directly to a prime viewing area. We are so glad we didn’t drive ourselves, as some parts of the roads don’t have railings and there are sometimes random cows on the road. Don drove us back to our hotel and was just as friendly and kind! Highly recommend

Nice sunset tour to the top of Haleakala - 5 and a half hour round trip to the top of Haleakala. There was enough time - almost 90 minutes at the top to take in the views and do a small hike. Views would have been nicer if there was no cloud cover which was the case when we had done the sunrise tour some years back.

Should be a 4 hour tour instead of 8!!! - The sunset views were absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! The best part of the whole tour was the time spend at the top of the mountain. The bus picked us up at 2pm from our hotel, and dropped us off at 9:30 pm. Arrived at sunset location at 5, sunset was 6:40 pm. Headed back down around 7pm. So much of the time was wasted picking up and dropping off everyone that was on the tour from their hotels. We spend 4 1/2 hours of the tour doing nothing. That’s not a full tour and not worth my time. Time management and arranging pickups is not their priority. Recommend driving your own car up the mountain and back unless you want to spend the day picking up tourists for a full bus. Their priority is a full bus verses giving you the best experience.
