This thrilling tour of Pearl Harbor, Oahu provides a deep-dive into the history of World War II. From the location of the Pearl Harbor offensive by Japan to the USS Missouri where the surrender was signed, you get a chance to trace the brave path of America’s war heroes. The Arizona Memorial, the final resting place for more than 1,000 sailors who lost their lives in the 1941 assault, is a key site you’ll visit. The visitor center allows you to view various exhibits and historical displays at your leisure, and a visit to the USS Bowfin will educate you about its significant part in the WWII wars.
- Please contact the tour provider at minimum of 7 days prior to the tour date for ADA and all special requests.
- This tour does not operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
- On occasion and due to external factors outside of our control (including inclement weather, closure of the Memorial by the National Park Service and/or shortages of boat launch tickets), there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit. You will still be able to visit the many exhibits at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and view the Arizona Memorial from the shoreline.
- Shirt and shoes are required to board the Arizona Memorial, swimsuits are not permitted. Strollers are not permitted in the theater or shuttle boats.
- NO BAG POLICY: The US Department of the Interior has declared a “no bags” policy at Pearl Harbor. Passengers may not carry any concealing items including purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. Small cameras are permitted but must not be in a bag. No items are allowed to be left on your tour vehicle. When going over to Ford Island to visit the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and/or the Battleship Missouri, guests are required to carry government issued photo identification and NO BAGS are allowed on the vehicle. Ford Island is an active military base and guests may be asked by security personnel at any time for their identification to ensure a safe environment for all. It is recommended to bring on tour only vital items like your identification and wallet as long as these items fit in your pockets.

Want Full Focus on Pearl Harbour? This is the trip… - Comprehensive tour focused on four main sites - Arizona, Bowfin, Hickham & Missouri. Rey, our driver guide, helped make whole experience fun & enjoyable. Would recommend this trip to others who want to understand Pearl Harbour. There is a lot to cover in each location & this helps give an overview, with free time allowing you to check out further details of particular interest, never felt rushed. Excellent Lunch & iced water bottle provided too.

Bring a phone charger there are plugs inside on the bus.
If you have a bag you can bring on the bus, you have to leave it on the bus, but it's ok.

Fantastic WWII Full day Tour with Vegetarian Options for lunch - Me and my wife recently joined Polynesian Tours’ WWII War Heroes full-day tour and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Rey, was absolutely fantastic - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and stories behind each site.
We began at the USS Arizona Memorial, where park rangers and U.S. navy officials provided us clear explanations and thoughtful reflections, that set a respectful tone for the day. Next, we explored the Bowfin submarine, both inside and out; this was self- guided but a audio tour was available through every compartment, pointing out incredible details and personal anecdotes that brought the Bowfin’s service to life.
Throughout the morning, Rey highlighted key moments and monuments around Pearl Harbor, his storytelling tied together the facts and the human element in a way that made everything feel deeply meaningful. At the Aviation Museum, we paused for lunch, and I was thrilled to find a selection of delicious vegetarian options, no small thing for me on a busy tour day!
Rey’s friendly demeanor, attention to every guest’s questions, and the seamless way Polynesian Tours organized our transportation and tickets made this one of the most rewarding historical tours I’ve ever taken. If you’re looking to honor the legacy of WWII heroes and learn from an outstanding guide, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Well worth the money - I do not like tours but went on this one based on the experience of friends. It was a great experience from beginning to end. We were picked up on time with a modern clean and tidy coach. Leo our tour guide was great and made us feel welcome. It was so easy to be transported to each ‘attraction” (not sure of the best word because this is a memorial) which looked so much easier than going alone and using the free shuttle. Also getting tickets easily to the USS Arizona is another plus. Leo had a great commentary along the journey. between what he told us and what we learnt during the visit we were very well informed.
We were a little confused about what we could take with us, with wording such as ‘you can take clear liquids’ made me think my stainless steel water container would be confiscated (how would anyone know if i had clear liquid inside??), and indeed, another tour member told me with ‘authority’ that I would not be able to bring it in. The people at the gate told me my bottle was Ok. So be prepared to bring as little as possible in a clear bag of the size specified in the literature. Bring any form of drinking bottle as long as it is not glass.

Pearl Harbor Deluxe is a MUST! - What an amazing tour. Our guide, Rey, couldn’t have been better. He was so patient with us and answered so many of our questions. So much history in one day. And the provided lunch was a true Hawaiian buffet. So good!!!
