• Marrakech - Embark on a 3-day Marrakech desert tour heading towards the Merzouga desert. As the journey progresses over the High Atlas Mountains, various Kasbahs, or Atlas Berber settlements, will be encountered. After a few hours of exploring the Atlas Mountains, the tour will reach Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a renowned World Heritage site. Enjoy a delightful lunch in the Kasbah before proceeding to Ouarzazate, known as Africa’s Hollywood. Numerous films, including Game of Thrones, have been filmed in Ouarzazate at the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios. The next destination is Skoura and the Valley of Flowers, with an overnight stay at a hotel in Dades Gorges.
• Dades Gorges - After a traditional breakfast, the tour continues through the Dades Gorges, along roads lined with ancient kasbahs and charming Berber villages. The journey proceeds to Tineghir, a stunning valley abundant with date palms. Walking through the high canyons, travelers will be surrounded by towering walls of grey and pink granite. The tour then heads to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, Sahara Desert, with lunch in Tinjdad. Upon arrival at the famous Erg Chebbi dunes, a one-hour camel ride will lead to a tent where guests can enjoy a luxurious sunset view. Spending the night in the Merzouga Desert dunes in a bivouac under traditional nomadic tents or beneath the shooting stars is an unforgettable experience. Guests may also choose to spend the night playing drums with the skilled camel guide.
• Merzouga - The following morning, witness the sunrise from the same dunes where the night was spent in the tent. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing wash. The journey then continues through the vast palm grove of Tafilalet via Rissani, Dra Valley, and Ouarzazate. There will be some free time before lunch. Afterwards, the tour returns to Marrakech, concluding the travel guide. Guests will be transported to their desired location, marking the completion of the 3-day Marrakech desert tour.
