Good family day out - Very well organised trip along the Manavgat river, includes quite a lengthy section at sea before a short swim and foam party on board. A second chance to swim in the river and then on to the waterfall for a €4 supplement per person and the bazaar. Our family loved the buzz of the busy bazaar and would have spent more time there. The pick up from our hotel in Lara was really well communicated and all on time.

Have a nice day! - For the price a very nice excursion. Well organized, but you are not allowed to bring drinks on the boat, which is not a problem, but should be communicated beforehand. We found the foam party on deck particularly funny, which the children enjoyed especially. The swimming stop was reasonable in terms of time, the time at the waterfall was too short with 30 minutes stay, but the time on the bazaar was good. I can recommend the trip.

Fantastic river cruise - My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic day today. The trip was amazing! Our particular highlights were the river cruise to the sea, enjoying the change landscape as we sailed out to sea, followed by swimming on a little sand island. Lunch was also delicious, simple but very tasty. Many thank yous 😀

Okay-ish but look for another manavgat tour with someone else - I think the itinerary needs to be detailed as we did not know what to expect when they write on the itinerary we’re going to pass Side. We don’t pass it, there are two stops in both this ‘pass by’ which is one to a beach and the second at this fixed rate market first. Pickups start from 7.30am and it can go on until about 9.30am. We were picked up 20 minutes later than our original stated pickup time. You’ll arrive at Manavgat at where the boat is docked at approx 10.30am. we travelled to this side beach and were told to do whatever for 1 hour on the beach (either sun lounge - charge for that) or you can indulge in the speedboats or buy pancakes to eat. Bring your towel so you can at least go into the water, none of our groups knew we were doing a stop here so none of us had anything. You can buy supplies there but it is 10-20 euros for an item. Around 12pm, you’re served food at the boat. 45 mins later, you’re taken back to the dock where the bus is. Once again, we’re driving around for approx 30 minutes to get to the waterfall and we’re only given 20 minutes to do a quick look around or grab a drink. We wanted some time off the bus and thought we’d have an hour here, we didn’t. We’re on the bus by 2pm and then driving to a fixed price market. No time given so our group goes in and explores, my friend and I had a quick bathroom break and grabbed a drink then sat on the benches outside as we hoped we’ll get to manavgat main market quicker if we were back. However we’d had to wait for our tour guide to return as she was the last person returning. It’s now 3pm, so we presumed we’ll get to the main market soon and have 2 hours. We got to the main market at around 3:15pm and we’re given an hour. It’s a massive market and we hoped to look around and find some little trinkets and souvenirs to take home but we only managed to buy 3-4 items. We meet our tour guide at the front and we’re left waiting for 20 minutes for our driver, that could’ve been our time to explore a little more so was thoroughly disappointed. By 4.30pm, we’re on the bus and being driven back. My friend and I got back to our hotel at 6pm. While it does say 10 hours approximately, out of the 10, you’re out of the bus/boat for maybe 2.5-3 hours. On a positive note, the views were stunning as we’d been on the boat and the waterfalls. I just wish we’d had the time to enjoy it.

Not a River Cruise - This activity should be titled “Party on a Pirate Ship.” I was the first of five pickups (before 7:00am) and the last to be dropped off (about 7:00pm), so the ride there and back was more than two hours each way. When we got to the boat, we waited another half hour on board for another bus to arrive. Drinks (full bar), junk food sales and photos with a Macaw began right away. The portion of the journey on the river is not long (which is fine, it is not very scenic) and then we were out on the sea. The view of the coast and sea was very nice, that is the best part of this activity. A “Turkish culture party” was then facilitated by the staff, with very bad music and belly dancing. We stopped in a bay with a nice view and there was a break for swimming. Lunch was after the break and it was good, chicken, rice and salad. Then there was a “foam party,” where soapy foam is sprayed from a machine and it gets all over everyone and also blows into the sea. After that, there was a second swim stop in the sea (a small beach). This stop was unnecessary, the beach wasn’t nice and very few people swam. After the boat ride, those who paid (extra 4 Euros) went to see the Manavgat waterfall. The stop is 30 minutes but could be done in 10. After the waterfall, we had a 45 minute stop in the Manavgat market. It is quite big. Most of the stalls sell fake designer shirts, shoes, bags, etc., casual clothing, stainless steel jewelry, spices and souvenirs. There is also a large fresh produce market. While it was nice being on a boat out on the sea, the bad outweighed the good for me. I can’t recommend this activity.
