Skiing in the Southern Hemisphere’s high Andes is a dream for many ski mountaineers. A 16-day, all-inclusive ski touring and mountaineering adventure is being offered to climb and ski one of the world’s most remarkable, unexplored ski destinations. The Cordillera Blanca features long valleys leading to towering glaciated peaks. This is a unique chance to ascend the Andes and ski Pisco (5752m) and Huascaran (6768m).
Nevado Pisco is a straightforward and achievable climb, with most of the route being non-steep and non-technical. This climb and ski adventure offers a fantastic experience and enhances acclimatization in preparation for the ultimate goal, Huascaran. Mount Huascaran is the highest peak in Peru, with two summits: Huascaran South at 6768m and Huascaran North at 6650m. Reaching the summit is a significant mountaineering accomplishment, requiring physical endurance and excellent fitness.
