- Lake Pukaki - Traveling through the striking blue canals of the Mackenzie High Country, the tour arrives at Lake Pukaki, offering the first breathtaking views of Mt Cook at the lake’s far end. A stop at a viewpoint allows for photos of Mt Cook with the lake and winding roads in the foreground.
- Aoraki Mount Cook National Park (Te Wahipounamu) - In the national park, there is 2.5 hours of free time to enjoy walks, hikes, or optional activities. Recommended activities include scenic flights to view the region from above and land on the Tasman Glacier, or the Tasman Lookout Hike. Whatever the choice, the tour ensures pick-up and drop-off services and attentive care.
- Omarama - While traversing the expansive plains of the Mackenzie district, the tour spots the renowned Merino sheep before passing through the charming township of Omarama. Nestled among vast plains and majestic mountains, this town is famous as a premier destination for glider flights.
- Lindis Pass - Ascending in altitude, Lindis Pass offers spectacular views down the valley. As one of only three alpine roads through the otherwise impassable Southern Alps, a stop at the Lindis Pass lookout, 971m above sea level, provides a perfect photo opportunity.
- Cromwell - The journey continues along Lake Dunstan, passing endless rows of grapevines into the Cromwell basin. This historic gold mining town is now the country’s stone fruit capital. From cherry blossoms in spring to rich autumn colors and delicious seasonal fruits, this region is a visual delight.
- Roaring Meg Bridge - Winding through the Kawarau Gorge, the tour stops at the wild blue river rapids known as the Roaring Meg for a brief photo opportunity before continuing along the river toward the Gibston Valley, one of New Zealand’s premier wine regions.
- Queenstown - The destination is reached as the tour enters this alpine town nestled between Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. Highlights of the area are pointed out before guests are dropped off at their central accommodation.
